My Nana Bella turned 11!
Good Morning Birthday girl!
time to open the birthday gifts!
Hannah asked for two things for her birthday...a tool kit and duct tape! Not kidding. She's my love to fix it girl. She was way excited about her new pink tools.
She's already made barbie clothes and an orange {her favorite color} shoe to wear with her duct tape...love the bed hair. :)
This gift was my favorite! I couldn't wait to give it to her. She's clearly puzzled with the FED EX package..
Inside were two tickets to the American Idols Live concert. and she's taking ME! I was dancing up and down like a kid. She and I have been Idol buddies this season.
It's no secret we have always been big Idol fans. I'm pleasantly surprised how much we liked it this year with the new judges and Simon gone. We enjoyed so many of the singers this season. Our favorite was Scotty whom we voted 105 times for that last night. {He was the winner!} We were bummed to have the season come to an end and sad to not be seeing our tv crush, Ryan Seacrest, until January. :) So we threw ourselves a chocolate waffle brownie and ice-cream party!
The night before her birthday dinner Hannah was watching a cooking show and was craving BBQ. Dad and I knew right where to take her for her birthday dinner. Famous Daves.
It was a hit! We had fun taste testing all the BBQ sauces.
Thanks to Smiths Bakery :) we had cake after her Sunday birthday meal with dad's family. I realized I can't teach a RS lesson and be finishing up a b-day cake in the same morning like I was with Kyleigh's. haha!
Hannah is my pickest eater but she does love Chicken Cordon Bleu and mashed potatoes. She helped Dad, grandma and Emma make the cordon bleu on Saturday. They make an assembly line and she was in charge of pounding the chicken really thin. It was tasty.
We do friend parties every other year for the girls. This was Hannah's off year. So we partied with a cousin sleepover instead!
Emma planned Minute To Win It games....
The Mov'in On Up game......
Penny Hose game.....
Stack Attack game.....
Before each game, those participating would watch the Minute To Win It blue print to see how to perform that challenge.
Getting prepared to do the Elephant March! what a kick
After the games we took a memorable ride to grandma and grandpa's, courtesy of Kyleigh. Luckily it's only about a minute and a half jaunt through the neighborhood to get there. We weren't exactly being law abiding citizens here.
They goofed off down in the creepy crawl space where they hid the time capsule a year ago....Emma even told a ghost story...
Grandpa requested another picture of the foursome...
Then we were off to the neighbors to jump in the pool....
They had a riot!
Because we are not supplied with boy's clothing around here, poor Ty had to put on a pair of Hannah's pj bottoms since his clothes were soaking wet. He gave us a laugh!
One more Minute To Win It game....called Wrap It Up!
However, they were no where close to wrapping up the partying. They had ice cream sundaes, watched Gnomeo and Juliet and Tron, and did their infamous 1:00 in the morning runaround outside before falling asleep at 2:00, one at 3:30! They were too pooped to do an all nighter like the last time they were here. Good time for my girls. Especially my birthday girl! I'm certain they would rather hang with the cousins then do just about anything.
Chocolate waffles! Whaaat? Do share!
