Here's to Week 7 of
Cooper's Covid-19 coping....
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo
with a Taco Party...
it was Taco Tuesday after all.
๐
I thought this was quite funny.
Threw in a few crispy bean burritos too.
Taco Time has the best!
These are my favorite Mexican tortilla chips!
I eat these practically every day!
More times than not I would rather
have something salt and crunchy
over something sweet.
Therefore, these are a staple at our house.

It was Kate's turn to be spotlighted this week...
For her activity she
wanted to play some games....
Most of her sister's
are NOT game players
but they all joined in for her sake.
When we are in the game playing mood...these are some of our favorite go to's.....
Creme filled donuts is one of her
favorite treats
so a trip to Krispie Kreme's was in order.
Instead of watching Kate's favorite movie
{The Princess and the Frog}
She wanted to watch
Outer Banks!
Hannah and Brie got
Emmsie and Kate hooked on the
1st season of this series on Netflix...
{In a nutshell teenagers with pottie mouths ๐ on a treasure hunt}
Another thing Kate enjoyed doing this week
was making smoothies...
She makes good ones..
Mine had blueberries, strawberries,
raspberries, banana, honey
and monk fruit sweetener.
Yum!
She made a Kahoot! quiz about herself
for the fam to play one night.
She did such a good job with the questions
she stumped quite a few family members...
but not me haha.
I got 18 out of 21!
One of her absolute favorite meals is sushi!
So you can guess what meal she chose.
I think she loves sushi and bulgogi
as much as I do.
*****In other family news....
Hannah had to say goodbye to these
two friends going back out on missions.
Not fun.
So much for social distancing...
๐
*****
Bing celebrated Star Wars Day for us!
We watched an epic battle of wits betweenhim and a squirrel in our back yard tree.
Bing ready for on-line school
in the office! haha
*****
Emmsie redid my travel bucket list
in her cute lettering...
{altho I don't wanna go anywhere right now!}

Other things that brought
light and joy to our week...
*****MHS had a drive by
celebration celebrating
the graduating Seniors.
{pic credit to KSL}
Teachers, Administration
and Student Body Officers
lined the route of the car parade
waving at the passerbyers.
The field lights and scoreboard
were lit up... in 20 20 numbers.
The whole event started at
8:20 {20:20 military time}
We don't have anyone at the
High School, but we
went just because we love
our alma mater and to support
the class of 2020.
I decorated my parents tree
in their office all Spring-like
with garden angels, bird cages,
seeds, gardening tools, and watering
cans, etc. They love this little tree
with the different themes each month.

Sending a Teacher Appreciation Gift
to Kate's Teacher by email.No foo foo
this year with gift bags.
๐
We sent her a Michaels Gift Card with
a note that said..."To a teacher that I adore...
Here's a little something to spend at the
craft store"!!! {idea from www.marcicoombs.com}
*****
Saturday afternoon trip to Iceberg
with gma and gpa...
Now that's an onion ring for ya!
*****
Of course Mother's Day was
the highlight of the week...
The hubs and kids made me a
nice dinner of salmon and veggies.
We had lemon cake bites for dessert...
AND with Kyleigh in St. George onSaturday for a day trip she brought back
those yummy sugar cookies from
THE SUGAR COOKIE. The one
with the orange cream cheese
frosting is my favorite.
For my sweet Mama....
a nice meal....How cute is that?
{Better believe I'm gonna still be wearing
lipstick when I'm 88!}
Have you heard of
Color the World lipsticks?
They're primarily developed for
older aged women.
All natural products.
A portion of every purchase
supports different causes..
{like restoring vision across
the globe for an example}
AND they have cute packaging
to boot!
These are the two I got!
My mom got flower delivery
after flower delivery.
She LOVES flowers.
My kiddos did the cutest gift
for me. They gave me ahome-made card
{compliments of Emmsie}
with an invite for a
Jane Austen Tea Party
the following afternoon!
I was not allowed upstairs for several hours
while they got all this prepared.
Some food they made and some they got from
THE TASTE...
the tea party place in Provo
we love so much.
We came adorned
with a tea party hat or fascinator.
Hannah had pretty Jane Austen
movie scores playing....
It was lovely.
and THIS was MY PLATE!I can't even.
๐
I was in tea party heaven!
Everyone had a name plate with a fancy name....
for example Hannah's was
Miss Caroline Annesley of Longwell Cottage.
๐
My name was Mrs. Amelia Pope of Averbury Place.
Emmsie found all these on-line...
"What is your Regency name,
hero, and scenario."
hero, and scenario."
SO fun!
After we ate we playeda Regency Era game
called Whist with a
deck of Jane Austen cards
that Emmsie owns.
We ended the evening watching my
favorite Jane Austen movie!
Love these sweet and thoughtful
girls of mine.
I'm one blessed lady!
