Kyleigh in Italy!
She spent the weekend in Cinque Terre
with these fun ladies...
Was able to attend church Sunday morning
and ran into a girl from one of
her BYU classes!
It's a small world sometimes...
she found some Koreans too!
Our Royal Wedding Tea Party!....
for months...
She is all for a good tea party!
π
She even hung a banner for the bride and groom!
She made a traditional English cake...
along with scones
and raspberry butter!
The clotted creme, lemon curd and
raspberry butter with the SCONES
was my indulgence.
So so good!
{Don't ask my head how it felt the next day though!}
π©
We had cucumber and cream cheese and tuna
tea sandwiches...
Meatballs and ham with crackers...
chocolate covered honeycomb
and
blueberry tea cookies...
Apparently the royal wedding cake was made from Elderflower and lemon.
Guess what drink I just happened to buy at the World Market?...
Elderflower with lemon Cordial!
π
You HAD to wear a tea party hat
or English fascinator to attend...
π
We missed Kyleigh being with us but
cousin Allie helped fill the void!
we raided my mom's china cabinet....
the bottoms said Windsor on them!
π
After our tea party we watched
royal wedding pre stuff
and the girls had a sleepover in the
family room.
Emmsie didn't sleep a wink....
She woke us up at 3:45 A.M. so we could
watch the guests arrive
and watch the ceremony live.....
One of my favorite moments was when Meghanwalked down the aisle...
to that Soprano singing!!!
Angelic!π
LOVED the music!
Had 5 music moments actually...
The TRADITIONAL British hymns sung were my favorite!!!
...and then there was THE cellist!
He was beyond brilliant!
I wish I had a picture of Zara Phillips face listening
to the American preacher!
So dang funny!
We felt the same way she did!
{Dude, STOP talking.}
He almost ruined the ceremony if you ask me.
THE FLOWERS!
gorgeous!Watching the carriage ride after was also another highlight for me.
I watched for 3 hours then
crawled back into bed...
*****
Saturday afternoon was the Youth Celebration in the Conference Center
for Jordan River Temple re-dedication...
We went to watch by satellite from the
Stake Center...
It was Spring Fling that night for Hannah.
Her last high school dance.
π’
*****Other randomness this week....
