Wedding Day!
Still wait'in to get all the photos back
from the wedding photographer...
She did send us
a few for a sneak peek
AND we have some
random ones from i-phones
so I'll post what I got.....
๐
10:30 AM...
head'in to the Temple to get hitched!
Btw...
The Payson Temple is sooo beautiful!...
The circular ottoman in the bride's room...
๐
from a castle,
AND the most expensive item in the temple...
so we were told.
๐
This was one of Kyleigh's favorite
moments of the day...walking out
of the Temple and seeing her people
all lined up looking fabulous!!!!
her cathedral length veil glittered
with rhinestones...
THE FLOWERS....
oh my!
๐
I will never get over how
magnificent the flowers were.
Her florist is an absolute gem.
The entire bridal party...
{can't wait for better pics of all that.}
It was an impressive sight.
17 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen/bridesmen.
Was supposed to be 13 on the latter, but two of
Kyleigh's guy friends couldn't make
it from Ohio and Virginia.
So they were honorary. haha
Two of Kyleigh's friends flew in from Oregon
JUST to be there for the sealing...
then they had to fly out after wards
for a Conference.
Kyleigh has some amazing,
supportive friends.
THIS pic below of all my girls
just tickles me to death.
They all looked so so beautiful.
Can't wait for the professional
family pics.
I have none of ALL of us yet.
Ugh.
We thought Kyleigh looked like a medieval princess.
๐
by the designer who did the crowns
for Downton Abbey.
SAY WHAT?? ๐ฎ
Also, I can not give
enough praise to the bridal shop
{Malmrose Bridal} where we purchased
her dress, veil and crown.
Mary, the owner, is fabulous!
Kyleigh's dress was hot off the
press when we found it. It had just come
into the shop by the Spain bridal designer
Rima Lav.
the wedding luncheon...
held at Clarion Gardens.
Emmsie and I made this display
for the guest seating. Even the
gold wax seals had a C engraved in them.
๐
{Magic is in the details...You'll find hints of
food, music and decor inspiration from
Kyleigh's favorite movie "The Count of Monte Cristo"
and her and Tyler's Disney song...Beauty and the Beast"}
All the other girls have their Disney song picked out
for their future wedding. Hope their guys agree. haha
The catering at Clarion Gardens was superb.
I wish I had pics of THE SOUPS too.
They were heavenly.
I'm still thinking about the dessert!
Hannah put their cute video togetherto display at the luncheon and reception.
Then it was off to the castle for the
ring ceremony and reception.
The ring ceremony...gah!!!!One of my favorite moments for sure
...the procession was a beautiful sight.
The bridal party entrance and exit
music was from Jane Austen's
Sense 'n Sensibility soundtrack.
My handsome hubby walked her down the aisle
to the song...My Father's Favourite...
also from Sense 'n Sensibility.
๐ญ
The evening festivities continued
with the reception...
THE CAKE!
Was stunning...
the baker adorable.
The food!!!...
Marvellous Catering catered the reception.
They were absolutely wonderful too...
Gourmet Grilled Cheese options
were served with sparkling grape juice...
along with a mini dessert bar of
Hot Fudge Puddings, lemon bars, apple crisp,
banana shooters, white chocolate raspberry,
AND biscoff cake!
Guests signed the
castle canvas Brie painted for them.
Guests could also get a photo by the lit up "you're my favorite"
sign..
And we had free carriage rides
for anyone that wanted one!
The hubs and I went off in a carriage
on our wedding night, we gifted that
to Kyleigh and Tyler, and it was our
gift to the guests.
This was a sweet moment.
Kyleigh dancing with the Poppi
to Frank Sinatra's
"The Way You Look Tonight"
The bride and groom's first dance....
was to Captain America & Peggy's
Avenger's-End Game final song...
"It's Been A Long Long Time"
1940's vibe....it was lovely.
{They had old classic love songs
playing like that throughout the reception.}
Before the night ended,
one of the groomsmen serenaded
the couple with a trumpet solo
to their "first dance" song.
My gosh!
Honestly, one of my favorite moments.
He is a wicked good trumpet player.
Throwing the bouquet
from the upper balcony...
Firework sendoff...
It was all pretty magical.
Whoa!
What a day it was.
I was so so grateful for every single
human that showed up to celebrate
the day with us.
I held it together quite nicely
the entire day.
However, the day after I was
a complete mess.
Here is proof!
๐ญ๐
Goodness...If you could only see my lists...
I have a list of all my favorite,
beautiful moments
of the day...
BUT also one of all the things that went South...
and what we would do different next wedding!
hahaha
There were plenty
of hiccups...
nail in tire, ripped dress, sickness,
just to name a few.
I have stories.
#1 take away....
DOES NOT MATTER how much you
plan and plan
and try to
think of every detail...
something is bound to go awry.
And honestly, we knew that beforehand, but gosh
it still left me a bit surprised.
๐
Thank goodness only those of us
behind the scenes
knew about the craziness.
and IT WAS!
P.S. I finally have a son.....in-law! HA!
Oh, and lastly, Hannah made this cute video of
our time at the bridal shoot.
{We gonna miss all this wedding hoopla.}
If you want to see more wedding photos go to
my Facebook page where I posted a 8 minute video
full of pics.
It was too long to post here. haha
