mission update
week 64
Hello Everyone!
It's August...wow! It's been a really good week. It makes me happy staying here. I just feel like there is a little bit more that I can do in this area.. I'm excited for this transfer cuz I love my companion, Sister Hall. We are going to have a lot of fun. We've already had a lot of fun! It's awesome! It's comforting having a comp that is the same age missionary wise as you. We've both been out the same amount of time. It's nice to be able to rely on someone again instead of being the one that always has to lead because you are the one training. It's a different feeling. It's kinda nice. Sister Hall is going to help me out a lot.
We taught a couple of good lessons this week. Our investigator Kim Su Won that I met on the bus two weeks ago with Sister Cordero is doing so good. She is reading parts of the BOM and has some really good questions.
I just love some of the people in this ward, especially the foreigners, we are like a little family. The Needhams are like our grandparents. The ward members are always so sweet to us. We had a meal appointment with one of our members. She took us out to eat. We ate spicy octopus!
Because we are STL's we will be going to Busan for some meetings this week. It will be fun to see some old missionary friends.
I love you all very much. I hope you have a good week.
Love,
Sister Cooper

We had a Rio celebration in honor of the Olympics starting!
We are a tad bit excited about that.
My Brazilian Madame Alexanders were center stage. ;)
Went on a little adventure to find the Latin Market downtown to find some Brazilian goodies.
ice-cream cones and Cheetos=Olympic torches.
Who knew?

We pretended Cafe RIO was Brazilian cuisine ;)
Afterwards we held our own FAMILY OLYMPICS

We picked 6 countries and drew for what country we would represent..
Dad got -Korea
Mom-USA
Emma-France
Hannah-Great Britain
B. Olivia-Brazil
Kate-Spain
Man, Hannie was into it!
Kate had the honors of opening the games with the torch run to the music of the Olympic Fanfare playing...
Go Kate Go!
We competed in five events...
#1 ping pong toss
{which B. Olivia won!}
#2 One-legged balance beam
Emmsie was dy'in over Dad's attempt....
#3 plank hold
Guess who won? hehe
Then I had to compete against Hannah....
who beat me...barely ;)
#4 Crab Crawl
Our final event was a Bike Race
around the block...
Emmsie beat us all out on this one...
Poor dad had to leave the party for a church meeting...
Guess who got the gold?
Winning two events and tying on another.

GO USA!
*****
Summer Randomness.....
G-mas flowers are beautiful right now..even in this awful heat.
We've been watering a lot!
Hannie is the official hose holder..bahaha
Farmer's Market with my mom...
Some school shopping.
{Which is like on the bottom of my FUN list.}
Kate loves to try on shoes. I caught her busting out the cat walk.
Much to Hannah's dismay.
Gosh darn it! I was rooting for HIM!
This show is so dang dumb, yet so entertaining.
My favorite bachelor moment was one night a while back when Jo Jo was
kissing 17 different guys {it seemed} in one night.
I asked Emma what that would be like.
Emma's response "MONO"
bahahaha
{clearly not impressed}
A Kneeders French Toast breakfast for these two!
Coalsville Derby for Hannie!
