Gratitude is the memory of the heart....
Happy Turkey Day!
Our breakfast table Thanksgiving morn.
One of my favorite sights of the whole year.
took the five kernels of corn on our plates
and shared 5 things we are thankful for
while we ate our twice baked {there's a story there..haha}
cinnamon rolls.
Hannah helped me make these
little Tom Turkey's stuffed with candy...
We got the idea from Brie's Primary teacher...
Throughout the day we ate.
Then ate again.
Then ate some more as we had Thanksgiving meals
with both sides of the family.....
we are serious piggy wiggy's on Turkey Day.
Sure is fun!
My brother Brad in the background
texting his girlfriend. kinda cracks me up.
Thanksgiving night about 25+ in our party
Our selection of pies at one affair,
there were even more than this actually.
Makes me kinda sick looking at it the day after. haha.
Hanging at Grandma's and Aunt Karen's
Thanksgiving night about 25+ in our party
{did not even attempt a group picture..}
went to see "Arthur Christmas".
On a turkey tryptophan high, I admit I dozed,
but what I did see was way way cute!
My favorite line in the movie..
'there is always time for a bow.'
who felt well enough to get off the couch to
join us for the movie. She is sick, sick, sick.
Other highlights of the holiday week....
*The girls wrote letters to Santa....
Other highlights of the holiday week....
*The girls wrote letters to Santa....
*Breakfast out with the hubby and two other couples...
*Going with a girlfriend to see the movie "The Help".
{one of the best movies I've EVER seen.}
Emma read the book and got to come with me.
*Knowing good things happen when I'm asleep.
Emma, Hannah and B. Olivia decorated a gingerbread house
while Kate and I took a nap!...
If you think this is all sweet and nice,
just so you know...
there is a dead gingerbread baby clued to the back. haha.
