In Cooper News....
Drill is kinda ruling our life right now.
It's comp season.
This was last Saturday at the Bountiful Competition.
Brie and I took two trips up North!
Murray took 3rd place in 4A Military..which was super exciting.. taking into consideration who we were competing against. THIS food truck was there.......
I had heard how good these corndogs were, but had never tried one...
Brie's words to me..."You wanna bite?...It will change your life."
lol
It did.
I was in a corndog coma!!!
SO SO SO very good!
On Sunday these two, with their cousin and a friend, attended the Singles Ward.{Cracks me up!}
Sunday night...
Did you watch? Did you watch?{We have been looking so forward to this!}
It was lovely.
Us girlies had ourselves a Queen Victoria celebration...
Emmsie and I practically ate it by the spoonful.
It's THAT good!
Emma made up a batch for our English muffins...
Those chocolate covered cookies...Tim Tams and English Digestives, are a favorite with my girls...
found at World Market.
{I just got to look at all this goodness and not partake... or I would have been on wheat overload...lol}
*****Decorated lockers again...this time for upcoming Region Competition...
Also helped with the table decor for their Region banquet...
*****
Brie made this Disney themed card this week for the playground lady at school.
Nana's husband recently passed away...Brie told her that Disney characters make her happy and she was hoping it would help cheer her up too.
Super sweet I thought...
*****Went down to Orem with Hannah to the cutest dress shop called Dress Collective..
We finally FOUND A DRESS!
Blessed day I say, cuz we were running out of time...Junior Prom is next weekend!
*****
Throughly enjoyed watching the Inauguration coverage for hours on Friday...
loved all the pomp and circumstance...
One of my favorite moments was before the swearing in...when the Trump's met the Obama's for tea at the White House.. I love the tradition and history behind everything single thing done on this day..
I thought the First Lady looked so elegant and classy...
Way to go Ralph Lauren! ;)
OH HAPPY DAY!!!!
How would you like to dine at this table of gorgeousness?
Loved that they danced to Sinatra's "MY WAY"
so fitting for Trump. :)
It was time for our monthly Dinner Group outing...
We tried the Galley Grill for Russian cuisine...
So unique and so fun to try...I had Borsch...a beef soup made with sweet beets {I'm a huge fan of beets}, cabbage, potatoes etc. and Pelmeni...beef raviolis with adjika sauce and garlic mayonnaise...
The service, by the sweetest Russian girl, was great too. Loved her accent!
The desserts..oh gosh so good!
I ordered honey cake...
{then crossed my fingers that it didn't make my eye swell up... :/ }
Kyleigh's Friday night date!
She had such a good time!!
I love hearing about her dates and outings.
It's entertaining!
*****
Another early morning Saturday for Hannie and I...
Today was Region Competition.
We were up against some tough competition...{one team being the State 4A Champs last year. Yikes!}
We took 3rd place!!...
There are only four schools in our Region that have a drill team...
so all four teams get to go State competition regardless of where they placed...
Some awesome friends who came to support...
one photobombed our family pic!
He's sweet!
;)
We celebrated at Blaze Pizza after........first time for us.
YUM YUM!!!
You can build your own pizza or order one of their specials...
The White Top and Chicken BBQ were a hit!
