Playing catch up here....
{hang on for an epic dump
of the camera roll}....
Our Scofield get-away on
Memorial Day Weekend...
My man doing what he loves! He taught Hannah and Tyler how
to fly fish...
We had a blast going four wheel'in....
Apparently... this is how boys peeon boy campouts. Who knew?
{not that he literally showed us
or anything!}
😜
in the woods!
Tyler getting initiated
with the "Hills Are Alive" ...
The dogs had fun chill'in!Mr. Darcy actually turned 2 years old
when we were up there!
Looky what we saw for the
first time ever in town?
Deep fried everything...oreos, snickers, cheesecake...
Yum Yum!
Other good food we had while
glamping....
{taco salad is a staple...
it will always remind me
of Scofield}
No campfires are allowed right now so
we roasted marshmallows over
the grill instead....
*******
Any way for Emmsie and I to get our
s'more fix!
Enjoyed the beautiful sunset...
watching movies and playing games...Have you tried the new Mountain Dew
thrashed apple?

End of School Year Activities....
Kate was 1 of 15
to be awarded
the "Hope of America" award
There were sixty-five 6th graders
that graduated and Kate
was 1 of 10 to get the
Presidential Gold Award for
Academic Excellence.
GO KATE!!!!!
With her two best friends...
Super proud of you Kate!!!
Longview celebrated it's 60thAnniversary that evening!
{Pretty darn cool to be the 60th
graduating class. Hannah's claim to fame
is that she was the 50th graduating class. haha
Even cooler I say is that I graduated from
Longview Elementary in 1984!}
They had a BIG
celebration at the school.
Carnival, talent show, movie etc...
The 6th graders sang
On the last day....
I captured OUR VERY LAST
elementary school
drop off and wave!
{Tugs at my mama heart strings.}
End of an Era for us.
Took these kiddos swimming
The Poppi, with his school board duties, got to speak for a few minutes at
graduation.
********
Brie finished up her Junior Year.
She did great in school too!!!
Got A's and A-'s all year.
We attended the year end assembly{Spartan Spectacular} to see B announced
as a Senior Class Officer for next year.
Yay B!!!!
Her support team!
Hannah and I love to go thru
the yearbook with her.
She literally goes through her wholeclass and tells me tid bits of info
on every person, if she knows them.
and went to a Leadership Conference
up at Utah Sate for three days...
SHE DID NOT WANT TO GO!
Luckily, one of Brie's best friends
is the SBO President for next year so
he was up there too.
We got hilarious commentary
from him the whole trip.
We love Bray Bray!
I almost forgot to post THIS....but it was
3 days before wedding day and LOTS
was going on.
But these two got to go to Senior Ball
and help out the Sr. Officers so they could
enjoy their dance!
Anywho, back to the Leadership Conf....Brie does not take pictures
{drives me nuts} so
all I've got our screenshots from
of the trip!
{Apparently... Brie no longer
has VIRGIN LIPS. LOL
And BRADY, another fellow
Sr. class officer
doesn't either. haha}
They became true Aggies at
11:20 PM.
Thanks Brayden for documenting
this momentous occasion.
So darn funny.
But hey Brie... what happened to becoming
a True Spartan first????
tradish paper plate. That's a family
inside joke go'in on a decade now.
{I think Kate would have rather
been ANYWHERE than there
holding that plate! LOL}
friend of my sister's... since childhood.
You will always find a connection to
someone in Murray. Just one
of many reasons I love my
but she was sooo
happy to be home! We got the low down
of the entire trip for almost 3 hours!!!
In other Murray news.....
The same day as the year end assembly
we received devastating news
that Miss Lloyd,
the ultimate queen of Murray, had
unexpectedly passed away in her sleep.
Only 62 years old!
She taught dance at Murray High for 36 years!!!
She was Kyleigh's pageant director, having
led the Miss Murray Scholarship Competition
for 27 years.
She had just talked to Kyleigh two days
earlier about upcoming Miss Murray Committee
things, and of course was at Kyleigh & Tyler's
ring ceremony nine days before.
"What the H?"
{as Miss Lloyd would say}
😭
Our whole family was just SO shocked
and saddened to the core!
Her untimely passing has left
so so many heartbroken.
💔
WHAT A LADY SHE WAS!
See her in the picture below?
She was just so happy to be there!
came to the end year assembly
to pay tribute to her!
There were tables and tablesof Miss Lloyd memorabilia at her
viewing....
Cary Sharon, our former neighbor,
was the MC of the Miss Murray pageant
for many years.
He died tragically almost 6 years ago...
{Who knows maybe these two are
runn'in pageants
together up in heaven now.}
😢
We attended the funeral.
She loved the colors pink and purple.
Even the Poppi wore a purple dress shirt
and Tyler a purple tie in honor of her.
In happier news....
Being the anglophiles
that we are....We did not
miss the opportunity to
celebrate THE QUEEN's
at our house for the 4 days
of the Platinum Jubilee!
{of course} to celebrate.
We had cucumber and smoked salmon
tea sandwiches..
meatballs, lemon, raspberry, and chive scones,
and other tea like goodies...
Our fake Princess Kate ring!
😂
The Poppi was our
designated photographer!
Even Mr. Bngley and Mr. Darcy
donned the red, white and blue.
*****Our Hannah had a birthday!!!!!
Turned 22!
LOVE YOU SO MUCH HANNIE!!!
She got birthday freebies
from 9 places....
Went here for her b-day dinner!
Had a pizza picnic
in the back trunk of the car...
at a look out point,
so we could watch the sun set!
Picnics and sunsets
are 2 of Hannah's favorite things!!!
She requested fish tacos for her
Sunday birthday lunch!
*********
In other food news!!!!
You must try Dali Crepes!
It was our end of the school year treat! Both the savory and sweet crepes
are bomb!
Also highly recommend this place.
My new latest thing to try at Indian restaurants
is the Peshwari naan...its stuffed with
nuts and sweet things.
So good!
Kyleigh and Tyler took the whole famout for ice-cream to thank us for
helping with "all things wedding".....
Leatherby's Traci's Peanut Butter Cup
will always be my favorite sundae.
