Father's Day
I found the cutest free, online downloads in a tie theme for Father's Day...
We whipped up a Happy Father's Day Banner...
I had each of the kids give dad a small gift attached with a tie tag good for one activity for just the two of them!... For Kyleigh, it's watch a western together....Hannah gave him golf tees for one tee-rific daddy who can take her to play a round of golf. B. Olivia is dy'in to learn how to play tennis, she gave him some new tennis balls so they can head to the courts...
My ice-cream lover Emma wanted to go on an ice-cream run just the two of them...so she gave him ice-cream cookies... one of his favorite treats! I gave him some new grill tools. He is the best BBQ'er! My tie tag said, Hey Grill master, "I'll bring the buns and you bring the fire!"
{That will remind him of what made him a father in the first place, don't ya think?!}
*wink* wink*
From all of us we gave him a fishing gift certificate to one of his favorite fishing stores. We celebrated with good food too. Went out with friends to dad's favorite restaurant for steak and shrimp on Saturday night and had scrumptious meals with both sides of the family on Sunday.
Dad is going to have a coke on Kate! Kate is obsessed with her bottle and pop cans! So it was only fitting to give him pop in bottle form.
We did the funnest activity the Friday night before Father's Day. We made Papa Pizzas! With our personal sized pizza dough and ingredients we decorated our pizzas to look like dad. He was out of the room and didn't know who decorated which one.
His job was to pick the one that looked the most like him...the winner gets a daddy daughter date, {or daddy wife date, because I played too.} Hannah was the winner!
This is how they turned out. Pretty darn cute and creative I must say. Poor dad was wondering which one of us gave him the massive googly eyes.
Thanks to Shindig Parties to Go, Happy Home Fairy and Dating Divas for my inspiration.
WE LOVE DADDY!
Happy Father's Day to my Partner in life, love, and general craziness. I love sharing it ALL with you!
I wrote a happy list this Father's Day for my own dad...he's 79 years young and such a great guy! Love him.
