Thanksgiving festivities...
We had our traditional
"thankful" breakfast.
It's always so endearing to hear what
everyone is thankful for.
It's tradition to take a family pic
every Thanksgiving.
So here we are.
This Thanksgiving was extra special
because my parents celebrated their
65th Wedding Anniversary
on Thanksgiving Day.
65 YEARS!!!
That's a long time...
😂
Guess who came as an honored guest
for their anniversary/Thanksgiving meal???
{He was left on our doorstep.}
Made our day!
👍👍👍
The day before their anniversary I was with
my dad at an appt at the cancer institute.
We had to wait a bit to see the doctor so I
recorded him talking about his memories from
their wedding.
So cute!
We had Thanksgiving dinner at
Grandma Cooper's.
There was only 14 of us and we
ate in separate rooms due to
Covid crap.
Lick'in the plate clean!
Pecan pie is a favorite of mine.
{We sure missed my brother-in-laws pies}
None of my side of the family gathered togetherin person. Every family, but mine, has been
hit with Covid. That night we had a huge
zoom meet instead.
Try having a zoom meeting with 88 year olds.
Pretty hilarious!
We went to see
up front with me and the hubs.
😅
from Provo.
She graduates in a few weeks,
and after Thanksgiving
all classes went on-line so no need for
THERE. Which we kinda
just did.
😂
She had a cute little apartment with
a beautiful view of this building that
lit up at night.
Last day of in person class
was a little tender.
After the move we stopped inat THE MOST AWESOM-EST
ice cream shop close to campus.
Very patriotic vibe!LOVED IT!
THIS PLACE shot
right to the top of my list of
favorite ice cream shops.
It had all the criteria
in my book.
Very tasty. Themed.
Tip top ambience.
Not noisy and loud.
Clean and friendly service.
Highly recommend.
{I know I'm going back!}
Kate has a white sparkly
tree up in her room with gold
and rose pink ornaments to
match her decor.
It's pretty darn cute.
She and her sister also got
her dresser painted...
How cute is that jeweled deer?
Our beloved
family room tree is up too.
The Christmas season can officially begin
