Kate is two!
We went bananas over a banana/monkey theme...
Banana Nut muffins
Banana Creamies & Banana Cream Pie
Banana slices dipped in dark chocolate {Costco find} topped with a monkey non edible embellishment {Target party aisle} Banana Runts candy sprinkled the table....
Kate is {still} bananas about her milk...I found banana flavored straws at Walmart so the milk tasted like banana cream. Yum!
Party Printables from http://www.paigesofstyle.com/
Banana Laffy Taffy
Little Monkey.....
I sorta die!
Kate {pointing at the nanas} is Bananas for....playing doodle on my phone, the Disney princesses, sticker books, puzzles, watching Sprout Channel... current favorite is Caillou, strawberries, broccoli, Cheetos, fishy crackers, her bahbah and baby...
The gifts.....
Rapunzel Barbie
Kate was due the day before St. Patricks Day and she ended up with an Irish name. Grandma C.'s gift to Kate was a Celtic Madame Alexander Doll.
Love this girl! My favorite is when she is lying next to me in bed and we hold hands and we say to each other, " I love you SO much." {melt} She has brought oodles of joy to our family. Granted, she has got to be our most stubborn and determined kid yet! Which has caused what I call Mountain Dew Moments for me. I'm not a habitual pop drinker. Occasionally, I'll have a few swigs here and there of Coke Zero. But then there are times, like after my last shopping trip to the grocery store with her, {good grief} I went straight for the hard stuff when I got home and it wasn't the diet kind.
This is currently my other favorite thing that she does. Over eight years ago we adopted the Thirteenth Article of Faith as our family motto. We've taught the first part to Kate. She's been saying it for weeks and weeks, but we finally caught her on video doing it a month or so ago..and I'm just getting around to posting it. Cracks me up! Especially the TRUUUUUE part.
