The Cooper Family Olympics!
We are totally into the Olympics at our house. We thought it would be fun to hold our own family Olympics for Family Night. I made an Olympic torch out of a paper towel roll, paper plate and tissue paper...Kate was our torchbearer...she was so proud!
She had her own little run down the sidewalk...
We each represented a different country. Dad & Kate were the USA, I was France ;) Kyleigh was Russia, Emma was Germany, Hannah Australia and Brie Great Britain...
We had 5 events...bike race, foot race, jump rope, long jump, and ball ring toss...
Hannah at the long jump....
For the ball toss we had five hula hoops and covered them in the Olympic ring colors and duct taped them together...
Whatever ring color they tossed the ball through was the color of candy they got to choose...for example these were the options of black candy for the top middle black ring....
Dad trying his hand at it from twice the distance...
Emma and Hannah made medals from an online printable they found...
we held the medal ceremony at the end where each of us got a medal to the tune of Olympic music we found off of i-tunes...
Go Team Cooper!!!
All week we've been having different country inspired meals for dinner.
Russian Chicken on Monday..
Pot Pie on Tuesday to celebrate the Brits...
Wednesday was Chinese...
Thursday was French Crepes....etc..
Brie made me the cutest Olympic inspired card this week...she's a sweetheart!
You are the ultimate party throwing family. Love to check in once in a while and see what fun you have been up too!
