Our Halloween Festivities...
Kate was a Day of the Dead skeleton
like her older sisters.
😍
Our ward had a trunk or treat.
We decorated
the car trunk
Day of the Dead'ish.
The ward party fell on the night
it was terribly windy and bitter
cold...like 26 degrees.
In Oct!
It was sorta horrible.
The party lasted about 43 minutes.
trying to stay warm.
😬
I love the people in our ward.
*****
A little mummy love in the girl's lunches
on Halloween day....
Hannah came with me to help inKate's class Halloween party.
Hannie and cousin Taylor are pretty
great friends. She takes him to a lot
of his hockey practises.
Kate had two costumes this year.
😂
I was in charge of the food station.
We had mummy muffins....red Gatorade for Vampire blood...
cheese balls for pumpkin poop...
and made monster mouthsout of apple slices, peanut butter
and marshmallows....
I made candy corn parfaits for my parents...
Handed out night crawlers to my
ministering ladies...
Kate is always so good to help me
drop off my little treats...
Some eats for the fam!
One of my kids VERY favorite desserts
is pumpkin chocolate chip cookies...
Had a visit from cousins....
Kate with some of her best friends...
The trick or treating crew...
*****In other family news....
One of Brie's favorite foods is potstickers!
She wanted to go to Potstickers Plus 1
for her b-day dinner!
It was yummy to try.
The shrimp potsticker was our favorite.
*****Two of my favorite things this week!
The Sams Club app!
You can scan the bar code on each grocery item
in your cart....
Slide and Pay...
Show the bar code to an associate at the door, which they will scan and you are good to go!
SO SO easy peasy and convenient.
I love it!
Another thing I like about Sam's is it is
WAY less crowded than Costco.
Their dessert and candy
section is far far better too.
*****
Another favorite thing this week is
seeing Kate on her cousin's
hover board. She is having a blast
cruising in the basement to music.
