St. Patty's Day Fun!
Goodies from the Leprechaun....

You're My Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow....
You've been pinched!
We spread a little {secret} leprechaun fun around our neighborhood to some of the widowers. There are only 4, with another in a rest home, of those elderly gents in our ward. Compared to 27 widows. Those men are so outnumbered!
One just lost his wife two weeks ago. :(
Lately, it seems we are averaging a death every two weeks around here. One week in January we had three funerals in 6 days!
Bizarre.
If I did not have the most wonderful Compassionate Service Leader and her committee around, I may be tempted to go run and hide, but I don't have to.
They make my calling so enjoyable!
Anyway, hope we were able to spread a little Irish cheer to those lonely men.
The Irish love potatoes!
We had a Potato Bar for Dinner and a jaunt after to get mint & chocolate concretes at Nielsen's Custard. We are a little obsessed with those.
Some of us also sneaked in a Mc D's Mint Shamrock Shake earlier in the week!
*wink*
How can you not?!
Kiss Me I'm Irish
{for a Day}!
St. Patrick's Day Parade
Kyleigh performed around the valley on Friday with her Irish group. Then again the next day for parade and performance at the Gateway. It was a busy two days for her {and me}! My brother, sister- in- law, nephew and I were the only ones in the fam that braved the St. Patty's parade downtown on Saturday morning. Weather was crazy and unpredictable! When it was all said and done we felt like we had been whipped to death by the wind. But it was worth it. That parade always makes us laugh. Not our typical crowd, but entertaining nonetheless.
