Tea Parties...
the invite....
to our good old-fashioned, English Tea Party!
With hats adorned the Cooper girls held
our 2nd annual Mother's Day Tea this weekend.
We invited two of the Bell nieces to join us
as it's the first Mother's Day without their sweet mom.
They came in style with authentic 1940 hats
borrowed from their grandpa's sister.
So cute!

fruit and cheese kabobs, cold shrimp,
English tea scones with currants,
chocolate dipped strawberries & biscotti for dessert,
AND sipped English Apple Squash from
70 yr old tea cups...
Even little Kate had a tea party hat!....she slept thru all the excitement and joined us at the end.
After tea we played a round of English croquet...
despite some strange looks from passerby'ers...
What a spread! And I love the croquet idea - you are amazing. What a fun thing to do. I hope the scones worked out :)
