Valentines, a birthday and snow....!!
I π my parent's Valentines tree
lit up in the corner of their office.
{Vintage Valentine decor is my fav.}
This cute neighbor is in her late 80'sand still makes things for her little shop
off her house.
It was a joy paying her a visit
and buying some of her handmade
stitched hearts.
On Valentines Eve we had our
traditional pizza dinner
by candlelight...
Three of the girls had plans
with friends
so it was just the hubs and I, two kiddos,
and the boys.
One is welcome at the table, because he is
so gentlemanly about things...

It's Kate's new favorite treat!
We celebrated with Sunday brunch.
Cupid left some Valentines
at each place setting...

Our school district didn't allow the passing out
of Valentine cards or candy due to Covid.
So with Kate not making a box or
giving out Valentines it was
a bit different... BUT I still managed to get
my Valentine fix anyway.

We paid this Sugar House bakery
a visit on Valentine's weekend.
Carol's Pastries has been
around for 70 years. The owners, in
their 90's, are still bak'in.
Valentines night we had a Pastry Party!For the Poppi since pastries of this sort are not his jam.

in honor of Valentines Day.

The day after Valentines we celebrated this
cute girl's bday!
Since her b-day fell on President's Day...This is by far our favorite ice cream shop.
They have the most delicious, unique flavors
all named after a Founding Father
or historical figure.

That evening we played this card game
that she got for her birthday.
and tried out her new tea cups and saucers. AND she wanted to watch National Treasure
with it being President's Day and all. It
was a fun day, made even better
because there was no work and school.

helped throw a baby shower for my boss.

since she loves Beans and Brew coffee.

We finally got snow!
A LOT of it. Enough so that
it was declared a snow day and
school was moved to on-line learning
