Our Thanksgiving Day
B. Olivia in her Pilgrim hat for our traditional Thanksgiving breakfast
Pilgrim style
Kate ready for her first Thanksgiving feast
with Dad's side of the family.
For my side of the family's feast I'm asked to make the same two things every year...I have the best green bean casserole and whipped yam recipes...and they are easy to make which makes them even better...this year made even easier by the Bullet Express instead of the standard potato masher. Love the man who helps in the kitchen
Between both families we made 3 green bean and 1 yam...added the pecans this year to the yams..yummy!
Round 2 Thanksgiving at my sisters...
There are 55 family members on my side...quite the crew...of course not all of us were there but there is always a houseful...
Love these two! My parents celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary the next day...
I'm so thankful for my wonderful hubby and my sweet, healthy girls...
The newlyweds, first time parents to be and almost missionary....love my extended fam...
Some cousin love.....
After the movie...this crew had a sleepover...they have way too much fun together!
Some late night dancing to Frank Sinatra and
this day was near perfect as a day can get in my book...
I am completely in love with this holiday themed song on Susan Boyle's new Christmas CD...called a PERFECT DAY
I was gobsmacked by the music video. The scenery is breathtaking. Shot in her native Scotland. I do have Scottish blood in me. Must see that place someday!
The par-tay continued today with seeing Santa at the Grand (pics to come) and tomorrow's much anticipated outing with Kyleigh. squeal.
