Here's to week 7 of
Cooper's Covid-19 coping....
Kate has been wanting to make
homemade French macarons for quite
some time now...
so she dived into that project
on Saturday.
It's a process to make those
things, and it took her hours!!
She practically did it all by herself
AND they were tasty to boot.
👊😉
*****Kyleigh and Hannah had a fun
time hiking with cousin Allie...
*****
We celebrated Hannah asour spotlight this week.
For one of her activities...
Two sisters and I watched her as she swiped
through her mutual dating app profiles...
so entertaining!
Another night the family playedher Kahoot! quiz that she made
about herself. These have
been so fun to play!
She wanted Goodly
for her treat! So one night
we went on a cookie run.
I love their logo!
Another evening we went up to the
Corner Canyon area to watch
the sun go down, or tried to anyway...
there was a bit of cloud coverage.
Hannah loves watching a good sun set.
She used to love doing that with her friends.
Until they all left her for Jesus. haha
Due to the pandemic they've all come home
from their missions in the past month or so.
She was so happy to have them home.
But several have already been
reassigned state side
and our heading back out this next week.
😔
She chose Indian food for her dinner.
We got Ganesh takeout.
Their tikka masala is the bomb!
She also got to watch her favorite movie!
*****
Other random things that brought
light and joy
to our week....
The military fly-by
that went through-out our state
honoring our medical workers.
So awesome.
Made my day.
to watch.
roofs.
It was great.
*****
Bingley's 1st Birthday
was a highlight of the week!
cupcakes from a place in
West Jordan called
Dela's Doggie Desserts.
Emmsie made a cheesecake
for us!
We had extra doggie cupcakes
so we delivered them to ournext door neighbor doggie
friends, who he likes to bark
at behind the fence.
He has taken quite a liking
to Penny who lives next door.
This is Sandy...
Buddy...
and his two hyper cousins...Sparky and Indie.
It's crazy how much he has grown
since the end of July
when we got him at 10 weeks.
These first pictures of him
kill me!
He now looks like an old grandpain desperate need of grooming!
My hair is in a state of emergency too.
I get it cut every four weeks. Faithfully.
We are going on 8 now...Yikes.
Happy Birthday to you Bing!We love you so much!
{even though you steal
our socks! 😂}
*****
In food news...
My friend brought us
sourdough chocolate cake
in place of our monthly dinner group outing.
Who knows when we'll actually
eat in a restaurant again.
😜
Some of my favorite eats this week...
Sunday dinner!
YUM!
My fruit/veggie and nut plate.
Right after a daily 16-20 hour fast...
This is what my body craves.
Healthy food.
This is one thing, of many, that I love
about intermittent fasting.
*****
What I'm watching....
I'm currently on a WWII kick...
It's such a fascinating time in history to me.
Two series I'm really enjoying right now
is Foyle's War...
{On Acorn British TV}
and the Hunting Hitler History Channel Series.
{Playing on Amazon Prime.}
This one intrigues the hubs,
Kyleigh and Hannah too.
