What's On My Happy List?

 

September at our house!

 
I had a birthday! 🙌
It was such a lovely day.
So many happy birthday wishes
came my way...I was actually overcome 

with emotion a couple of times 

throughout the day over it all. 😂

I was able to see Joseph, 

my favorite musical, 

the night of my birthday at the Hale Theatre.

It was FABULOUS! 

First time for Jaren and I at the new Hale theatre, 

which is hard to believe 

because it's been around for 9 years now. lol

Seen plenty of musicals 

at the Tuacahn and Eccles,

but had not been yet to the Hale. 

What a lovely place!

It's football time!

The BYU season started

the first Saturday in September!

🙌

I look forward to it like I do

the Christmas season.  lol

A few days before the game opener 

we took a jaunt to BYU campus to get

photos and visit the new creamery.

Lilly started a dance class with 

her cousin...

Baby V is growing so big!

In other family random...

The hubs had his annual 

fly fishing outing with his

fishing buddies...

We call them the "boys of September" lol

It's been a yearly tradition for years now.

B, Kate and I enjoyed our time

walking around Silver Lake up

Big Cottonwood Canyon on

a rainy evening...it was SO SO

beautiful!

B and I have enjoyed doing initiatory 

temple work together...

Besides her dental assisting job

Brie occasionally works 

setting up and executing 

weddings with a friend who is a 

wedding planner/organizer.

Kate has even worked 

with them too!

Usually 12 hour gigs!

I love when Brie gets to bring home 

flowers from the weddings

she works at...

B is also an assistant to Hannah 

with wedding content creation when

Hannah is double-booked and/or 

isn't available to shoot a wedding.

Hannah also works with B at the same dental 

office, but as the receptionist.

The two sisters are very intertwined

with their working. haha 

Hannah filmed at 26 weddings last year and 

this year she is booked for 35! 

It's fun to see her work

She had a great time on Brady's family

cruise taken earlier this month.

In this month's food news...

Our old YW Presidency

tried a new Mexican restaurant

called Provecho...

Found this bottle of yumminess at the

Murray Farmer's Market...

the sushi from KWA...

All the b-day Trader Joe's goodies 

given me, which I share with the fam

cuz no way I can eat all of it, 

nor do I want to...

other than the pink canned sardines!

I'm the only one that's a fan of those! Ha!

August!

Baby V's blessing day!

We had the Southern Belle Scarlett O' Hara
Madame Alexander Doll displayed. 

If you know the 1939 movie 

"Gone With the Wind"....

Scarlett is played by the actress Vivien Leigh. 

We thought it would be a fun tie-in as

baby V's full name is also Vivian Leigh 

{with a slightly different spelling.} 

We took some pics of baby V

with a red sash and shoes too!

The luncheon was CHERRY themed... 

with lots of cherry 

themed food items...

cherry fluff salad, cherry tomatoes, 

cherry turnovers, cherry sour balls, 

chocolate-covered cherries, cherry

flavored drinks, & cherry ice-cream..

Some Bonka time before leaving 

for church...

Baby V was so peaceful and content

while us girls were prepping and 

putting the final touches on the luncheon!

End of summer activities....

Kate had a fun swim party with friends.

One of our favorite things of the summer

is attending the Abba concert at the 

Sandy Amphitheater in August. 

This is our 3rd year in a row going. 

It's a blast!

One of my best friends and her daughter

came in 70's attire!

We had a lovely youth activity up in the mountains!

Stake BBQ...

{Our new Stake was formed in Feb of this year..

it's huge! 👀}

the YW/YM and leaders from our ward

helped serve SO many sno-cones! 😂

Night before school started we went 

to watch the sun set!

I'm over the "Messenger of Hope" age 

young women in our ward. I handed this 

back to school treat/thought out to them 

the night before school started...

We also had our Back to School Dinner!

{school lunch style}

And... I opened up Gigi's library for Lilly Belle!

I have soooo many children's books...

this is maybe a third of them. 😜

In other family random.....

Brie was a bridesmaid for one of her 

best friends...
I don't have any pics of the wedding, 

but captured this before she headed for the 

temple ceremony, which she

was able to attend now that she's received

her endowment.

Girls took their twin cousins out to hear

about their first week of 6th grade!

Emmsie still had some of her belongings

at gma C's house...so we took a Sat and got her 

stuff out as well as rented a dumpster and got 

rid of our old food storage etc...

It was 103 degrees on this day.

It was UGH 😓!

Bid a final goodbye to gma's house 

{as we knew it}

Jaren's youngest brother 

will be moving into gma's home this month.

Kyleigh helped throw a bachelorette party

for one of her best friends...

since the 5th grade!
