Brie and I went to Heber Valley Girl's Camp for
a couple of days.
We were in blessed cabins instead of tents!
Good thing cuz I'm a bit out of practice
with roughing it.
{Fun Fact: It had been 10 years since I'd been to
a girl's camp!}
THE MooseMen poster is an 8th Ward tradition
that goes back a few years.
My older girls are so proud
that B and I are trying to
keep this tradition alive!
Craft Time!
Each ward had to perform a lip sync skitto a song with either love or heart in it.
The theme for Stake camp was
LOVE, like HE LOVES us!
We danced and lip synced
{with card board cut-out men}
to a medley of love songs from
several different decades.
"Love thru the Ages" was our
skit theme.
It was a production
putting that thing together.

Huge shout out to my Emmsie and Hannah for
their help with all that!
We were sorta proud of our award!
"Overall Performance of Incredible Achievement"
We spent some time at Legacy Lake! And on the zip line ropes course!
You had to climb up a pole and walk across a tight rope to get
to the zip line...
It took me about two hours toget up the courage to
try it myself.
But I did it!

One of my favorite people on the planet is
this lady, our YW's secretary.
She is in her 70's and such a trooper
for even going.
She was so excited to go home!
πππ
Emmsie took care of Kate while we were away.
It was craft week at home!
Kate painted this castle and
Emmsie made the princesses out of wooden pegs...
painted their faces and hair,
and made their clothes out of felt.
Seriously, how cute is this?!?!
*****
In other family news....

*****
The hubs on his weekly Saturday morn

Kate enjoying the summer fruit!
I love that she loves food!
She had a craving for orange chicken
all week which led to Chinese take-out
on a Friday night!
*****
Two of my favorite things from this week!
Trying Czech pastries from
Hruska's Kolaches!
The hubs and I were watching
Diners Drive-Ins and Dives
Diners Drive-Ins and Dives
Friday night and the
breakfast bakery Hruska's in SLC/Provo
was featured.
was featured.
Our mouths were watering.
He surprised me Saturday morn by
bringing some home!
The savory sausage and gravy one
was by far my favorite!!
