A Peek Into Our Week....
It was a big week for my Hannah
as she started college.....
π±
She wasn't thrilled.
She'd rather be going back to high school.
Emmsie took her on a tour of campus
a few days before school started
so she'd know where all her classes are!
π
Hannah's cute friend gave her a ring{Hannah LOVES rings}
with this sweet card!
Super thoughtful and clever!
We didn't get around to having a
back to school dinner
like in past years
{see side bar to your right}
BUT we still have
a theme for this upcoming school year.
I saw this video at a work
training about the Power of Optimism.
So our mantra this school year is
"TO FILL YOUR CUP"
with positive thoughts!
Our goal is to have more half glass full days
instead of
glass half empty...
instead of
glass half empty...
π
Our happy cups!!!!
*****
Some of the girls and I attended a
BYU Football Party...
Sort of a pep rally for Salt Lake area
BYU fans...
FOOTBALL STARTS THIS SATURDAY....
SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THAT!
π
A perk of getting there an hour early!
The coach and some of the players were there
for a Q and A session...
We walked away with autographs
and a warmed up football scream!
π
*****
In other random....
Emma has been teaching Kate how to sew!
π
*****
Kyleigh has had some fun outings
with friends and family.
I like to tease her that her
social calendar is booked out
two weeks in advance.
Cuz it sorta is.
She is ALWAYS up to something...
She got to go shooting with the Poppi!
Breakfast up Emigration Canyon
at Ruth's Diner.
She loved seeing the Crazy Rich Asians movie.
Brought back some Yellow Fever for her!
Paint night!
Donut run with sisters!
*****Brie finished up her
Honors English Summer assignment.
They had to read Treasure Island and analyze it.
She did not like that book
one bit!
π
We celebrated making it through the
first week of school!
*****
Kate pulled up some carrots from her garden.
{That's some honk'in big carrots little lady!}
π
*****
Costco find...
If you don't want to eat a whole bag of these...don't buy them.
π
THAT GOOD!
*******Goodness ME....
another Netflix HIT....
If you love an intriguing War/Romance/Drama.
I highly recommend you watch
The Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie Society.
IT IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!
{There are 4 lovely people from Downton Abbey in the movie.}
