A Peek Into Our Week....
I was able to go on a field trip to the Nature Center
with Kate's 1st grade class.
We learned about trees and went on a Tree Trek.
๐
*****
We were enjoying the spring-like weather...
then it snowed!
Yep, on the 17th of May.
????
*****
We welcomed home my cute niece from her mission!
Had this welcome home treat to give to her.
Riesen's are her fav!
๐
The girls were bummed they couldn't be out at the airport that afternoon cuz of work...
they were excited to see her that night!
*****
Got to go to a special dinner with the hubs at the Cottonwood Country Club with his
school board duties...
*****
Brie participated in the "Murray is our Home" dance festival celebrating Murray High's
Centennial.
It was indoors instead of the football field cuz of temps in the 40's!
Crazy!
That same night, unbeknownst to us, a real live COUGAR
was in our neighborhood.
like what the @#&*?
Kyleigh had been jogging on that street just a few hours before...
hello!?!?!?!
๐ณ
He was tranquilized by animal control.
A tad freaky, yet amazing.
I'm telling you if I was my neighbor in this pic,
I would have thrown on my BYU gear
I would have thrown on my BYU gear
and been flying the "Y" freak flag.
๐
*****
Some days Kyleigh and Emma are at the same hospital and get to work together.
They have been working up a storm...saving for college.
{Evidence that they have about had it!}
Emma had two work weeks of 10 hour shifts a day.
It was brutal.
For surviving, I treated her with one of her favorite eats...
an acai bowl.
๐
an acai bowl.
๐
We tried the Protein Foundry's.
{too pricey for me! and I thought Roxberry's were.}
She says Aubergine's is still the best tasting!
Snuck in some Subway with Kyleigh during one of her lunch breaks...Ky went on a hike this week with a buddy...
went to a softball game to cheer on friends...
and did Korean face masks with Kate!
*****We had Italian Village pizza benders on Friday night!
Doesn't get much better than this!
Emma's friend Rachel had never had a bender.
{We happily introduced her to one.}
*****
Saturday morning I attended the baptism of one of my little friends...
yard work with the fam...
and some hammock time!
AND car washing with Ky...
Kyleigh is now the proud owner of her own car,
Louie!,
that she bought from us.
๐
*****
Saturday evening the fam went down South to Payson Canyon to hike the Grotto Trail.
One of my absolute favorite trails!
After, we stopped in downtown Provo to eat at the India Palace.
Their Mango Chicken Korma.
FANTASTIC!!!
Someone did not like my mango mint lassi...Next door is this French bakery...known for their Kro-nuts..
I had no idea what a Kro-nut was,
but a friend informed me
but a friend informed me
that they would change my life.
๐
๐
They were devoured in about 90 seconds
by the crew.
*****On Sunday Kyleigh went up North to attend the homecoming
of an Elder from her MTC district..
Then blitzed back for her cousin's homecoming!
Cousin Emily and Hannah were twinners!
{oops-a-daisy}
Later that day a "party in the kitchen" with my little people.
*****
Do you feel like the month of May is swallowing you up?
๐ฉ
Only six more days of school for us.
All I can say is
Halle-freak'in-lujah!
Sooo looking forward to
no more homework or projects
school lunch fix'in
or getting up earlier than I wanna be!
