A Peek Into Our Week....
Seeing my Emmsie at work...
then sneaking away with the hubs to one of his favorite dives for a spontaneous lunch...
had two lunch dates that day
π―
{not that I really minded tho}
as we celebrated a friend's upcoming b-day at Around Eatery.
My first time at this place....
Yum!!!
*****
Brie had dance tryouts...
She is now in a group of 22 Sr. Starlette's!!
Go B!!!
π
*****With every body's conflicting work schedules through out the school year we haven't been able to get together in like forever..
Nice to finally visit and catch up.
Even Stevens Sandwiches are the bomb btw!
*****
Thursday was a doozy of a day...
I went mum shopping with my mum..
π
and visited the cemetery...X2
we about lost our minds trying to locate one of the graves...
π
with Ky on her lunch break....
eye appts!
and eyebrow threading...my older three swear by this!
and more 6th grade graduation dress shopping with Brie!
Good Ghandi!
Why is it so hard to find a dang dress?
Brie had a hilarious list of restrictions...
maybe that's why π....
nothing too bright and colorful
no t-shirt dresses
nothing with big floral or stripes
no skirt
no denim
nothing too churchy {what does that mean?}
no dresses with straps to where a shirt underneath or cardigan was necessary
um...so what kind of dress are we even looking for ???
Seriously drove me bonkers cuz I sorta hate shopping.
{I had a meltdown in Seagull dressing room to prove it.}
After the 7th store a plain navy blue lace dress was our tender mercy.
Bless you Macy's

It was a big week for Murray High as it "officially" celebrated it's Centennial year!
Thursday night we attended a gathering where they had a hundred years of yearbooks out on display.So flipp'in cool!
Attended the Spartan Spectacular pep assembly after wards...
all alumni attending were recognized down on the court.
Oldest alumni there graduated in 1941!

This teacher Ms. A has taught four of my daughters.
She's fabulous!
She is leaving to teach Math at the Junior High.
Luckily it's the junior high B is attending..
Brie and this friend of hers have been in the same class every year since Kindergarten.
π
funny Bishop...
B. Olivia got to go out to eat with the Poppi...
while I headed up to the zoo with Kate for the First Grade field trip.
{I swear everything falls on the same day!
Why is that? So annoying! }
Big Bug display going on right now...
pretty impressive!
It was a pleasant time with perfect overcast weather!
π
{good thing...cuz the zoo, heat and me are not a good combination...}
THEN .....that night it was Centennial Ball!
her green wedges she already had matched perfect!!!
{not that the hubs and I were really dy'in to...but}
um...not sure what's even happening here...
the ball was at the State Capitol!
Beautiful!

We cannot handle the dance scene...
AWKWARD!
I do not dance.
{well... fast dance NO, slow dance YES!}
