In other school news....
Here I am participating in the Great Utah ShakeOut Earthquake drill.
somehow I managed to get mostly under one of those small Kindergarten tables...
kind of a humorous situation I found myself in.

Good Eats this week...lunch out with one of my favorite ladies...
always love the opportunity to catch up with her
It was also time for my monthly get together with these gals...
...we met at Stella's Grill...
My gosh the time with these ladies often leaves me speechless.

This outing was no exception. And that was even without Ju, who
sadly couldn't make it.

Our monthly dinner group just happened to be this week too....
We tried the Pho Thin Vietnamese restaurant in Sugarhouse for the first time.
Goodness me...Yummy Yum Yum.
Seriously, their appetizers...

If you want to compare Vietnamese food...
Pho Thin sure gives Oh Mai a run for their money on their caramelized pork rice plate,
but Oh Mai's Pho is much much better...

My gosh!
You can get gelato stuffed in a cannoli shell!!!

{and the music they had playing...right up my alley...made my heart smile}
My friend was so dang excited about the coconut flavor!
BUT the sea salt caramel=divine!
THEN if I hadn't had enough good food...
we celebrated my dad's birthday with lunch at Mobettah's on Saturday!
He loves their Katsu chicken!

Kyleigh had a good time at the Activity Day Cultural Activity
She had a fun hangout with missionary friends who were showing a Korean
Salt Lake City for the first time.
