Hershey's Candy Bar.....
well deserved rose from her special admirer. I'm not allowed
to say his name (LOL) but he is the sweetest boy! And good
too. He is the son of some friends and lives in a neighboring ward.
This admiration has been going on since the fifth grade yet they
can barely say 'boo' to each other in person (too shy..LOL ).
However, the last few months they have been able to break
the ice by emailing each other a couple of times a
week. :)
Little Emma always has the support at her recitals from
her good friend Shea. He is a sweetheart too! He told her
that he loves to pick out things for her (What 10 yr. old
boy says that?)...whether its flowers or another thoughtful
gift. This time it was a teddy bear. So cute! The saga continues
between these two as yesterday after school Emma
finds him on the corner, (he usually rides the bus) waiting
for her with her Christmas present. He gives her a 5 lb
Hershey Candy Bar and then asks if she would like him to
walk her home so he can carry it for her. What a little
gentleman! His mom followed them in the car as they
walked home trying to make conversation.
How funny is that?

Forget the traditional rice. What a better way to be sent off

from your four little nieces?
Run Braden Run....LOL
"Buddy Evergreen" the Elf- Santa dropped this little
elf off on our doorstep on a Family Home Evening night this
month. He's here to stay until Christmas... watching over the
kids (and mom and dad too), making sure we are behaving so
Santa will bring us presents. Every night after bedtime, he
heads back to the North Pole to report to Santa if we should
be on the naughty or nice list. When the younger girls get up in
the morning they can't wait to find him as he hides every morning
upon returning from the North Pole. In honor of our all-time

he may be spending many more Christmases with us.

"First we'll make snow angels for a two hours,
then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole
roll of Tollhouse Cookiedough as fast as we can,
and then we'll snuggle. "-Buddy from 'ELF'
Your girls are so pretty! LOVE the candy buffet too - every luncheon should have one! Your posts always make me smile & smiling is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteKatrina said you should write a book...and I agree! Get on that please...a book about meaningful family traditions to start! The elf? Such a cute idea! Can you just email me prior to every holiday and tell me what your tradition will be, so I can start on time implementing them? LOL :) That 5 lb. choclate bar...hilarious! Love it!
