A Peek into our week...
We went to see this movie on the 24th Holiday!
I've never been a big Lion King fan, but I
enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa stole the show!
We watched the Days of '47 parade from home.
had pie and {root}beer
to celebrate the pi-o-neers!
😉
Kate and I celebrated Christmas in July
on July 25th!
She soaked in snow in gm'as jetted tub!
Our pretend snow!
We made frosted hot chocolate!
We used this recipe we found on-line.
It was quite tasty I must say!
We turned on Andy Williams song-
"It's the Most Wonderful Time of Year"
as she opened a few gifts!
😂
We had nuts and crackers as we watchedthe new Nutcracker movie. We didn't
see it when it came out this past holiday
season. Not sure I regret that.
It was a little weird, but I guess
I'm just used to the
Barbie version that my girls
grew up watching.

In other news....
I enjoyed a night out with the hubs!
First time for me at the
Jinya Bar. I loved my
pork cashu rice bowl.
How tiny this restaurant is...not so much.
You are basically sitting right
up next to strangers as if you were out
to dinner with them.
Awkward!
{Kinda invaded my social bubble.}
*****
My cute parents went on a little
adventure with my brother and sister-in-law.
They are true homebodies so it was nice
to see them get out!
*****
Kyleigh got a scholarship to attend
the 72nd annual Folk Dance Camp
held at Pacific University in
Stockton, California.
It was she and 7 other BYU students who spent
a week dancing their little hearts out
with a bunch of old people.
Cracks me up!
She learned dances from Poland, Greece,
Armenia, Bulgaria, the Argentine Tango,
Chinese, etc etc...
She had quite the time!
She also got to model this Afghanistan dress
for the auction.
Some lady from New Jersey bought
it for $300...then gave it to Kyleigh
to keep!
Kyleigh was dying!
😭

One of my favorite things this past week...
I love me some British TV...
I've sooo enjoyed watching these two shows...
Restless is a spy espionage mini-series
{more like a 3 hour movie} going back to WWII.
and this modern day Welsh Mystery Thriller
currently has one season.
The hubs is actually watching
this one with me.
Which says something cuz we
have totally different tastes in movies.
😜
