A peek into the last few weeks
at our house...

Memorial Day weekend!
Traditionally we go up to Scofield
but the weather was supposed to be
crappy up there so we stayed at home.
We saw this instead...
We loved it!

cuz it's mine and the hub's song... it came out around the time 

we got engaged so 

it's kinda our wedding song.

Thank you Zayn from One Direction fame.

 We took the kiddos to Red Robin for hamburgers.

Probs the best burger I've ever had there

plus their garlic and herb fries are so yummy.

I would know cuz I'm a fry snob!

The hubs took the younger two biking
to cap off the long weekend,
while I tried organizing our office.
It still needs a lot of help!

I've been watching a lot of Doris Day movies

since her passing....

I love her!

For sure one of my favorite actresses 

of all time.

My favorite movies of hers are

  Pillow Talk and Send Me No Flowers!

{I think Rock Hudson is so dreamy}
Also the dancing and singing in Tea for Two
is pretty darn impressive!

STILL doing a bunch of random things to
get us more settled in our new home...
the DI either loves or hates me...
Can't tell ya how many DI drops I've done
in the last 3 months...
but I love purging and getting rid of crap.
On one of my recent trips in May we saw
this fully decorated Christmas tree being
donated. Gave us a giggle.

Another random was washing all the
blessing and baptism dresses
and finding a place to store them...
That will always be one of my fav 
memories of having all girls...picking out
these beauties...

in months...

IT's been SOOOO rainy here. 

It's rained every day for days and days 

it seems....

But we love it!

There could be a late night 

rainstorm every night  

and I wouldn't mind a bit...

as long as I'm not out in it.

My current favorite sandwich right now...
The Capastrami at Capriotti's!

And Costco has brought back our
favorite pizza!!!!

I got a pic of Kate before school every

morning for the last week of school!

Our countdown to Summer...

Only 6 more days!!!

This kid will not wear her hair down
for school. 😏
Either has to be in ponytail
or braided every day.

This was Kate's end of year gift for
her 3rd grade teacher.
{I love giving children's books as gifts!}

Her teacher is decorating
her room in a cactus theme
next year. We had fun rolling
with that theme!

Work is now done for the school year for me!

Hallelujah!!!!!

I wish I could show you pics of 

the darling kids we took care of
at Spartan Station,

 but I can't, so one of 

me with some of

my co-workers will have to do.

These were the work gifts I gave out...

Totally fitting since we work with the 

infants and toddlers

and dealt with bottles every day!

Also...On the last day of school

the hubs had to conduct a funeral....

and then he blitzed to high school graduation
with his Board of Education duties...
He got a selfie with his 1st counselor's grandson!

On the first day of Summer
we celebrated Hannah's
19th birthday!!!
She wanted cash to go shopping,
Kneaders for breakfast...

and Brick Oven for dinner.
Easy Peasy!
No one has a salad bar like they do.
It makes my tummy happy!

Hello Summer!
Even though it's my least favorite
season, I'm sooo looking forward to
staying up late and sleeping in!

summer for sure!
