A peek into our week:
The fam enjoyed a little get away
to St. George.
We were able to see
Mama Mia and Newsies
at the Tuacahn.

I swear the Tuacahn is one of my favorite
places on the planet.
We've enjoyed so many great musicals there over the years...

Night 2!

Both shows were amazing!
But I particularly loved Mama Mia!
It's one of my favorites,
if not my favorite musical...
It's kinda all around cheesy,
but I freak'in love the music and THE MOVIE.
In my mind no stage performance will ever beat that,
but it was still very well done.

It's one of Brie's favorites too!
I wish I could have bottled up her beaming face after the show.
We spent time chill'in...
at the pool, watching movies and eating good food...
FYI: The Green Iguana in St. George has wicked good sweet pork
nachos and burritos!
shot glass shopping
😛
On the way home we drove to Cedar Breaks in a heavy on and off again rainstorm.
It was BEAUTIFUL up there, but FREEZING with a 40 + degree temperature drop!
We witnessed a flash food coming down the mountain.
It was incredible to watch...it was like a rolling thunder of logs and water...
*****
So in other news....
One of my least favorite things to do...
prepp'in for a new school year to start.
This year is particularly gnarly as both Kyleigh and Emma are moving away...
I can talk about it for about 30 seconds then I end up in tears!
{I must prepare myself my friends}
I'm afraid I'm going to be a hot mess...
😩
The three of us spent some time in Provo one day this week as they both had job interviews....
We stopped at 180 Tacos- Global Street Eats!
This place has been on my list to try for some time.
I dare say it's MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE TO GET TACOS!
They have like 7 gluten free options!!!!
{heavenly}
They were all tasty... but the baja fish one I'm still thinking about.
It was THAT good!
*****
The top movie viewing of the week goes to this film.
It came out the end of March and why I hadn't seen it yet... no clue... cuz it's based on a true story...World War II era...so up my alley.
GUYS!!! This movie is FANTASTIC!!!
love LOVED it!
*****
The book of the week:
The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid...
cuz we needed an excuse to have a cheese party!
{If you only knew how much we love CHEESE with grapes!!!}

Plus I needed a good reason to use this darling cheese platter.
So we celebrated, along with a 6 cheese pizza from Papa John's!
Papa John's now has gluten free crust
🙌
but of course it's no where near as good as the original.
