 Dumping the camera roll from our recent extended family road trip....

we are NOT heat lovers,

Made a stop at Deadhorse Point
which I loved!

 Cute Mexican restaurant in Moab...

no bueno on my food tho...

 A little night swimming...

 Day 2

Morning workout!

Stopped at a Fort in Bluff ...

Drove down by Monument Valley...
saw the Valley of the Gods....pretty epic!

 Visited Goosenecks!
It was a favorite!

We traveled to the windy Four Corners Monument..
{the only time I'll be in four places at once with a broken butt to boot!}
Seriously guys, this injury of mine is a pain in the booty.

We then traveled to Mesa Verde National Park Cliff Dwellings in Colorado...
the Pueblo Ruins are fascinating!

Our stop at KFC in Cortez...made my belly smile..
I freak'in love KFC's coleslaw and baked beans!
Kyleigh had a meltdown while eating about how much she loves her dad.
She was in tears about it.
It was hilarious!

I think we'd been in the car too much.
😂
It was a loooooong day for driving...the KFC parking lot proved to be quite entertaining..

The trip back to the hotel thru the Colorado country at sunset....
WAS BEAUTIFUL!!

Back in Moab...Hannah's first time having a Maverick f'real shake. 
She loved.

 The last day we visited Arches!

 We hiked to the viewpoint of Delicate Arch...
{we gotta go back when it's cooler to actually hike right to it}

Spent most our time in the Devil's Garden hiking....

to Pinetree Arch

 and Landscape Arch!

Did I mention it was HOT?!?

the name "Devil's Garden" was fitting..

Before we headed home we ate an awesome 

pizza place 

in downtown Moab called Zax.

Their honey chicken pizza was my favorite!
So very good!

Got our ice cream fix here...

Kate's featured book for the week with a pink cupcake bath bomb!

Kate always has a blast when Great Aunt Jill brings her grand daughter to stay for a few days..

She is almost 4yrs older than Kate but they get along so well.

She was here a few days before our trip. 

The grandma's spoiled them. 

Shopping and lunch and treat outings.

Emma was taking 4 classes at SLCC this past winter along with a class at BYU.
She graduated with high honors in May from Salt Lake Community College with her Associates Degree.
🙌
She didn't want to walk in the ceremony, just wanted the dang certificate.
Which finally came this week.
