My Hannah turned 17!
Breakfast pancakes for the birthday girl..
awakened to Mama Mia's Dancing Queen music...
"young and sweet only 17!"
π
message from the sisters at work!
Gift time!
some shopping...
Beauty and the Beast was released on her b-day!
π
My Hannie is my cheesecake lover!
She had never been to the Cheesecake Factory before...
that's where she chose to have her b-day dinner.
I hadn't been to the Cheesecake Factory in years.
Not my favorite place actually.
Their menu is way overwhelming to me...
Plus it's too loud and crowded and too expensive.
But we ordered an assortment of appetizer/small plate items and I may have to eat my words.
Their calamari was a hit!
and the avocado egg rolls with tamarind-cashew sauce.
My gosh!
π
Plus they have good lemonade.
I may just go back.
Sisters birthday celebrating with Macey'sKong Cones
and birthday cake ice-cream!
Hannie felt the love from her friends on her
b-day.
She's just got a great group of fun friends.

During the week my bestie and I were able to finally get together and catch up over a salad.Thursday was the first day of volunteering for the summer!
Hannah is volunteering in the Hospital Endoscopy Department.

Friday night....
Kyleigh was having a drill friend reunion at our place ...
3 are already married and 1 engaged.
They seem so young...
but I can't really say much cuz I was too when I tied the knot.
π
I tease Kyleigh that if she would have gotten married at the age I was,
she would have been married last August!
Is that not crazy???
anywho...
the rest of us went to the movies
to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean....
I'm trying to highlight a book a week this summer with the little one.
Anything to get her a little more excited to want to read.
She just does not enjoy it.
{If you know anything about Dyslexia you know why reading is not your favorite thing to do}

Hannah had fun with friends hanging in the 4 hammocks in the backyard...
I went out late Saturday night to sit with Kate in one and stargaze.
BUT...
It was so dark out there I misjudged my sitting place
and fell back...not into the comfy hammock, but on the slab of concrete underneath
where the hammocks are hung!
Right on my tailbone!
π³
Hit my head on the concrete garden bench to boot.
Jeez!
Such a pleasant experience.
My friends, almost four days out and it still feels like my butt is broken!

One of my favorite eats this week....Hawaiian Haystacks we had for Sunday Linner!
