A Peek at our Week...
Attended the Cougarette Concert with Hannah down at the Y.
This Ice-cream Parlor in Downtown Provo
has been on my list to check out for a while now..
So since we were down that way we had an excuse...๐
It did not disappoint.
Especially the Biscoff flavor...goodness me!
Kyleigh was down in Provo that day too...
she went to watch her buddies play basketball that morning...
then met up with a friend for a lunch date...
then rushed home and went off with Emma and friends to experience another escape room!
Sherlock Holmes themed this time.
They escaped with only 56 seconds to spare. ๐

On Presidents Day the fam went to one of our favorite restaurants...Cantina ๐
then walked across the street to see this movie!I've been wanting to see this since it came out, but just haven't had the chance...
MY GOSH. It's superb. I LOVED IT!
{and Kevin Costner is in it,
so I knew I would....๐ }
*****Brie had crosswalk duty at school this week!
Ky met up with a missionary friend at the Gateway..
She is STILL getting lined up!
{Her social life is hilarious!}
She met this date in Provo, then when she finished...
she was off to St. George for the weekend for a former companion's
homecoming....

On Friday night...
It was time for our monthly Dinner Group.
We tried this hidden restaurant in East SugarHouse neighborhood called Sea Salt.
What a delightful little place...
eventhough I found the menu to be super overwhelming :/
{yelp images}
They specialize in Italian cuisine...
Our friend's niece is a waitress there.
She gave us three appetizers and four desserts, on the house, to try!
It was heavenly...
Our friend said to come that night with 5 songs that when we hear them...take us back to our high school/college days...So fun hearing what people shared....I have definitely more than 5, but these were the ones I chose.....
"Can't Fight This Feeling"...REO Speedwagon
"The King of Wishful Thinking"...Go West
"Waiting for a Star to Fall"...Boy Meets Girl
"One" by the BeeGees
ANY Barry Manilow song...
and gosh I should have said "Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins. ;)
Jaren's were
"Surf'in USA"...Beach Boys
Micheal Jackson's "Beat It"
"Living on a Prayer"... by Bon Jovi
Paula Abdul's "Straight Up"
and any Def Leopard!
B and Kate went out to dinner with Aunt Angie and the twins that night, so Emma and Hannah fended for themselves...and Hannie drove! ๐ณ which is kinda unusual cuz she never drives, even though she's licensed, so this snapchat we got while we were gone gave me a giggle.
