A peek into our week!
The drill team on their way to the State Prelims.
They performed SO WELL!
But fell ONE slot short of moving on to the State Finals.
Bummer!
Overall they came in 10th place in State 4A competition.
That's pretty awesome!
If Hannah and these three girls below do drill their Sr Yr...they will be the only ones on the team that have done it all three years.
So many girls quit this year.
{I just don't get that!}
Drill is hard as H@$%.
It really is.
It's hard on your body and the
time and financial commitment drives you insane.
But Mama Cooper says if you make a commitment,
you keep it.
Or
at least wait till competition season is over to leave...
😡
Special flower delivery for her late that night on the porch ;)
The night before State Competition we had dinner at Mimi's with the Drill team...
....the creme brûlée cheesecake Hannah and I had for dessert...
HOLY YUM!!!
They had three posters filled of "Guess Who" pics?
Can you guess which one my Hannie is?

{Could squish that cute little face!}

Kyleigh and I went to see the team perform at the home basketball game that weekend.
Hannah wears the exact same military costume that Kyleigh did!
Here is proof! 😂
Ky was feeling a little nostalgic being back at the high school...haha

Someone turned 21!
WHAT????
She leaves a little sparkle where ever she goes....
She's discovered Poldark!
need I say more....
The hubs and I took her to Sapa Sushi for her birthday dinner!
Loved it.
Loved it.
{although I like the Sushi at Cafe Seoul better}
However, their calamari with jalapeno appetizer...
AND Jaren's seafood dish...
The bomb!
THEN....
we went to her favorite Korean restaurant for dessert.
You guys!!!! I had Bingsu for the first time.
I get why Kyleigh is so obsessed with it.
flipp'in good!
we ended the evening watching one of our favorites...
did we giggle....
*****
Get-together for her b-day with her besties.....
One of three trips down to Provo this week for Kyleigh...

a trip with me to apartment hunt for her and Emmsie...Boy, THAT WAS an adventure!....with all the possible scenarios and logistics of things....
a stressful process..not gonna lie 😟
and back down for country dancing on a blind date!
Emma told Kyleigh the other day... "You are like the wind!"
{I say more like a whirlwind! haha}
Today, Feb. 9th, is National Pizza Day!
