OH GOSH!
GUESS WHO was in Salt Lake on Monday night?
BARRY MANILOW!
I LOVE BARRY!
{his music ranks up there with my beloved IL Divo and Frank Sinatra...just say'in}
His music kills me.
Seriously.
Brings back such fond memories of high school life.
His voice is iconic.
That never gets old.
He's the ultimate entertainer,
who knows how to put on a fabulous show.
His music makes me want to make a fool of myself, bust a move, and belt out singing.
{and I'm not a singer!}
Luckily for everyone around me, I kept it under control.
{except for the screams}
Just so you know...
I really could have swayed and listened to the music ALL NIGHT.
And shed a tear or two.
He even sang one of my very favorite Frank songs...Moonlight Serenade.
{It's mine and the hubs song! Gah!}
I've been on a Barry binge
{and the Bee Gees....and Peter Cetera....}
ever since.
My family is calling for an intervention. ;)
I swear I was born in the wrong music era.
I attended with some of my high school besties and life friends...who share the love for Barry.
Ju will kill me that I posted this pic {shh, don't tell her},
but it cracks me up.
I was just so relieved she made it to the concert in time.
She had to meet us there as she was having car problems and was waiting for her car to get done at the shop. When her car wasn't going to be finished in time, the auto shop gave her a loaner car....which died on the freeway!
Right across from the Maverick Center where the concert was.
She was THIS close to crossing 6 lanes of freeway traffic and hopping the fence so she wouldn't miss a second of Barry.
{I would have done the same thing. In heels and all.}
Pretty sure it would have rivaled some of our high school antics.
Luckily a UHP officer picked her up and drove her to the arena.
With time to spare. Phew!
What a Fantastic Evening it was!
In other news..
My missionary girl!
This is the pic she chose to put on her missionary plaque that will hang at the church...
She's trying to fit in as much fun as she can these last few weeks.
She and her girlfriends went down to BYU for the Ballroom Dance Performance.
They took a weekend girls trip to Zermatt...
Whenever they go up there they make collages from magazine pictures of their favorite things.
This was Kyleigh's!
Luckily Sav brought the Ensign and New Era haha!
Before they left to head down for church...
Kyleigh is having some one on one time with each of her sisters before she leaves.
SO sweet!
She took Brie swimming.
{These two have always been my swimmers!}
They went for sushi after.
Brie's friend brought by the cutest thank you gift for B.
Thanking her for her birthday gift and coming to her party...
Do'in yardwork!
Lots of prep going on around here for the farewell luncheon.
It's Starlette-do, and glitter time.
Hannie has 4 rehearsals and 2 performances this week.
And we're just getting started!
With everything else going on around here. Things are a little cray cray.
From her awesome teachers!
Hannie woke up one morning for school and saw this!
She thought it was so cute
{how Kate's legs were crossed, even in her sleep}
she took a picture!
Sleepy bye land is looking awfully good about now! ;)
