What's On My Happy List?

I love me some Maroon 5! 
Their new music video....Sugar...puts a smile on my face! I'm pretty sure beyond IL DIVO and 1D, and my other outdated music loves like Manilow, Josh Groban, Bocelli, Buble, and Peter Cetera {I'm an old goober} they are the only group these days I'd pay to see in concert....



Speaking of Sugar...
Kate was wanting to make blue cupcakes the other day. This is what we came up with... Winter Blue Eskimo Cupcakes! Kate is a white chocolate lover. A Cookies n Cream Hershey candy bar is just about her favorite treat in the whole world. We crumbled those up to sprinkle on top...AND added some sugar!  

Enjoyed a little outing with Kyleigh before she started back at school. Her semester didn't start until a week after the other girls.  Lucky duck! We've been indulging ourselves on episodes of past Downton seasons. {Delightful!} She so wanted me to keep the Christmas tree up until her birthday...ummm..that's not til February. I kept it up a whole entire week after New Years before taking it down. {She was still butt hurt.} She loves the lit tree as much as I do, no doubt about that.   

Got this text the other day from Emmsie. She was stoked! 

It's the end of the semester {Which means the school year is half over already..WHAT?} Emma was able to pull all A's this term. This girl spends hours doing homework, SO it is very well deserved. 

One of Emma's drawings from her SLCC art class was displayed at the recent school art show...It's her dream car! 

Her final project of the class....is of Audrey. Love it!

This was Hannah's VERY last day of dressing for PE in JR HIGH SCHOOL!!!! 

All my girls have loved the PE teacher at the Jr. High. So...it was a little sad. As well as leaving her favorite class and teacher. Ms. Lippencott, who teaches Geography/History.  She also pulled all A's except for one class. Darn Science!

I've had a bit of the decorating bug of late. 

{It's about time, it's been about 10 years. haha} 

Found this little colorful pillow. It's got a little bohemian flare to it that I just love. I'm just sorta obsessed with decor pillows in general, but I'm using this as my inspiration to change a few things in the front room.... to give it a more Spring-y feel.... 

I think I'm having better luck with Hannah and Brie's room redo. It's coming along. More on that later. 

It seems the kiddos just got back into the school routine and now they are off again. Look'in forward to seeing this with them over the holiday weekend...
