Fall Happenings!
My little lover bug is back in preschool. Last year she went in the mornings. {So darn icky for us non morning people} I switched her to the afternoons for this school year and I'm seriously patting myself on the back for making that change. I can already tell it's going to be sooooo much better for the both of us. I'm kid free for almost three hours four x a week.
{you may or may not have seen me just do a happy dance}
Such a natural poser! She reminds me so much of Kyleigh when Ky was this age.
He had a Court of Honor and received his Eagle the same day as his farewell.
Some cousin shots!
If I counted right 33 family members are missing.
With four additional great-grand babies coming there will soon be over 70 of us.
I LOVE MY FAMILY!
We got there early to see the amazing "WE WILL NEVER FORGET" 9/11 pre-game tribute. We were on the third row in the north end zone. Way way fun to be down so close to the field. This was Hannah's first time going to a game. She's hooked.
Night games are the absolute bomb. One of the camera guys was quite close to us. The hubs, watching at home, is pretty certain he heard my distinct football scream. Wouldn't surprise me. ;)
We had the BEST time!
The morning of my birthday I got up to make lunches. {Ya know my favorite thing to do.} Cute Emmsie and Hannah surprised me and told me they had made theirs the night before so I wouldn't have to. So sweet! The girls gave me my present before they left for school. Kyleigh and Hannah had done the shopping and Emmsie made the card, and made sure the packaging was just right. Have you smelt the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin candle at Bath n Body? It will make your nostrils happy.
THEN...Emma surprised me with a sketching of Sense & Sensibility. My favorite Jane Austen film. Touched my heart so much. I cried. So so thoughtful!
Love the little gifts given to me from neighbor friends...homemade peach jam, Vera Bradley pencil set, etc..
Had a yummy birthday seafood dinner with the hubs with a gorgeous view.
Celebrated for days after with lunch dates... my favorite gourmet pizzeria with my best friend, the corner bakery with my old RS Presidency, with Kyleigh and Kate at our favorite Deli, one of my closest childhood friends took me for Sushi, and another dear friend who just returned with her husband from her mission in Africa took me for Thai food. It was all yummy! Then 9 ladies in our neighborhood gathered for a potluck lunch to celebrate every one's belated birthday...
We went on a double date with my parents. How cute is that? We attended a wedding reception downtown. Walked around the beautiful grounds by the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The flowers were absolutely stunning. My mom loves nothing more than a beautiful flower garden. I agree. We ate at the Lion House Pantry. It was such a delightful evening...
Kate went on a date with dad to the Humane Society and Pet Smart to see all the doggies...
Hannah with friends at the Murray game...
Emmsie joined the Key Club with some friends. They do a service project every month. Recently on an early Saturday morning they volunteered at our community's Alzheimer's walk.....
She helped direct traffic. lol
