BABY CAMBRIDGE! One thing is for sure around here, the girls and I like pomp and circumstance. Kyleigh, Emma and I were on some major royal baby watch today...held hostage for hours by the tele and CNN waiting for the big news. Poor Emmsie decided to hop in the shower and she was in there, {of course}, when the news finally came of the baby's birth. {I'll never forget her running down the hall in a towel when she heard us shrieking with delight.} We've been waiting for this day for awhile, making predictions and betting on the date, sex, weight and name {or names..haha} weeks ago. We all guessed it was going to be a little princess so we were all caught by pleasant surprise.
I love the fact that they stuck to their traditional ways and didn't find out the sex of the baby beforehand...In a world of gotta know now and gotta have now...it's a breath of fresh air to have patience... to wait. I've experienced it 5 times, and I'm telling you... it's the best surprise you'll have in your life. Only way to go I say.
Hopefully within a week we can come up with some boy names to wager before the official announcement of the name. {you know it took us a week to decide on Kate's name..crazy!} Kate said they should name the baby prince Bob. It then followed with "I wish it would have been a girl. It could be named Snow White..no, Cinderella!"
I just have to say it's a happy day for royal watchers....the news of the royal baby's birth was thrilling...it gave me the chills! We celebrated with cupcakes from the Sweet Tooth Fairy adorned with print-ables from the cutest, vintage, UK site papergravy.

I just read the description of you on the side of your blog. WOW! You are amazing. For one, you can remember all the things you like, love and do not like. I am also very random and do not have a sharp memory. Very impressed with you and your party throwing skills. What a really fun mom you are. Wish we lived closer. Utah is such a pretty place. We love visiting family in Utah. Maybe next time I am up I will look you up. Send me your address via email. coolcoons@gmail.com
