Fourth Festivities...
Four Cheese-Star Shaped Ravioli..compliments of Costco!
At the parade!
We met up with some friends...
My non parade going family. The look on their faces.... Classic!
Kyleigh was in the parade with the drill team...
She walked and danced the entire route. She was sweaty, hot, and tired after, but still had a smile on her face.
Kyleigh missed out on our annual photo by the flag. She was still gone with the parade. We got KFC for lunch {a 4th of July must!} and then she had to go to work for the afternoon.
Made firecracker popcorn pops....{idea from here} The morning after Kate told me I was magical.... because I had put popcorn on a stick. {Pretty darn cute!}
Cuter than her attitude at our second parade of the day... Which was in the evening to watch Emmsie march with the pipe band.
IT WAS WICKED HOT out there. {miserable I say} This hotter than Haiti's weather needs to go bye bye. like real soon. Kate had an absolute fit and I was close behind. Emma withstood the heat amazingly well and actually enjoyed being in the parade.
Round 3. Fireworks that night at Murray Park with my brother's family. I have to say its the best firework show our city has put on. {we either have more money in the budget or our end of term -like 12 yrs. - mayor is going out with a bang} We were sorta in awe. It was amazing!
A little post 4th of July mini celebration, days later, with red velvet cupcakes. The hubs and I watched the WWI show..Flyboys...

It's pretty momentous when we find a show that we both want to watch. We have complete different tastes in movies unless it's Bond, military, or the old classics... like a good Doris Day or Gary Grant movie...and he's a bigger fan of the American Movie Classic Channel than I am! Cracks me up that we get to the movies as often as we do!
Thank you for using our printables!
ReplyDeleteHave a whimsical day!
