Emma's Obsession with the Twilight Series...
I am still not a convert to any of this vampireness but I have another daughter who's been swept off her feet over it. She started reading the books the first part of November. Within three weeks she had read the whole series and watched all the movies at least once..So when Breaking Dawn Part I came out a few weeks ago she tagged along with Kyleigh and a group of her friends to the theatre.
If you only knew the planning, organizing and craziness that ensues in a teenager outing such as this... oh my goodness, its amusing to me. And I got to be a small part of it.. driving them to and from the movie! {Seriously, chauffeuring is one of my favorite things to do, as long as I don't have to drag Kate. then it almost always becomes unpleasant :)} Unfortunately, we couldn't fit all of them in my vehicle, but boy did we have a carload! And with that came fogged up windows, chocolate donuts and plenty of laughs. On the ride home, one conscientious boy questioned the rating of that show. {not surprised there!}. And THEN came one of THE funniest comments I'm certain I will ever hear come out of the mouth of one of the quieter boys. It instantly landed as my favorite quote of the week. And has not been replaced since. Would not EVEN be able to do justice in trying to explain what he said {one of those had to have been there moments}. But I will summarize by saying that for us, there is not only Team Edward, Team Jacob, but also Team Naked Baby!..

Brie's creativity......
Brie had a couple of sick days a few weeks back. In an effort to not be bored she was desperately wanting to make some sort of contraption. Ugh! {Those things never work, so why bother, eh?} So I played along and tried my best to help her make a zip line in the hallway with wire, a hanger, and fabric to take her cheetah stuffed animal for a wild ride...
And much to my surprise that little idea in that mind of hers worked pretty darn good! I had a pleased little girl on my hands...
A little one's princess obsession...
Kate has acquired a fondness for Cinderella . She calls her "Lella".
And I realized Hannah's first friend party at age four was Cinderella inspired!.....
