Kyleigh and I had a little outing today to see the Rockettes Radio City Christmas Spectacular. squeal. WE have been so excited to see this. What an amazing show it was! The Starlette Dance Co. that Kyleigh belongs to does this same style of dance on Tuesday nights. So it was a thrill for her to see this. and for me too. What a way to kick off the Christmas season.
While we were away the other girls helped grandma decorate a gingerbread house...
I got home in enough time to watch most of the second half of the BYU vs. Utah game. Nothing, nothing, nothing gets me more riled up than watching this rival game. Especially when it goes down to the wire like it did today. As it usually always does. I'm normally a very quiet, and calm person but THIS game gets my heart a pump'in, I hoop and holler, I scream, I jump, with my arms and legs flailing. I pace, I charge the TV, I yell at it as if those boys can hear me. Duh? All this hoopla makes me sick actually, I go weak and I'm tingly, as if there are butterflies in my entire body. So strange. My kids love to sit on the couch and just watch me react to the game. Next year I'm going to charge for a ticket because apparently I put on quite a show. The baby was in my arms for one of the spectacular Y plays today and she lived it first hand. not safe. Poor kid!
The last few seconds of the game today were pure torture to my soul. One day I'm afraid my head is going to blow or I'll have heart failure over it all. LOL
The outcome made me want to cry...and I actually did.
Pathetic I know.
I made myself feel better by finishing decorating our Christmas tree, going shopping, and eating way too much peppermint ice cream with hot fudge topping while watching HOME ALONE with the fam.
The girls put up their trees. They are all decorated so different, just like they are. Nothing tickles me more than seeing a fifth little tree lit up...
