I know some people don't care for Mother's Day because they are ridden with guilt about what they don't or didn't do for their children. I think its only natural for all mothers to feel guilty over something or worry about what aspect of your 'mothering' is warping the kids. I know I do! But I try and not dwell on that and simply do the best that I can. Sometimes my best isn't very good but thats why there is always a tomorrow. I for one, happen to enjoy Mother's Day. For me, the day is about celebrating the girls as much as it is about me, because if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have the blessed title of "Mother".
So with that in mind...here is a quick tribute to each of my daughters.....
To my Kyleigh...the reports from your school teachers of your cheerfulness and kindness to other people makes me so pleased. I love how we share a passion for music, movies, and fashion. You are always so good at giving me compliments and expressing your love verbally. Never stop saying good morning and goodnight and telling me about your day!
To my Emma...your sense of humor and flair for the dramatic makes me laugh. Your thoughtfulness is endearing. I'm so impressed with your nuturing and homemaking skills at such an early age. I love how we share a passion for decorating, themed parties, celebrating family traditions and making "to do" lists.
To my Hannah...Your artistic skills and carefree nature always amazes me. I admire how you show your love through your poems and letters. I respect your fondness for the outdoors. We share a love of sociability. I'm happy you love being with your friends because I adore my friends too!
To my Brie...you are my sunshine..I love your sensitivity for others, and your ability to say I'm sorry. I love to hear you pray, you give the best prayers! I admire your sweet and loyal relationship with your grandma. My day would not be complete without the little kisses you give to me on my arm.

And lastly, to my precious little Kate, my sleeping beauty, oh how I adore your sleeping face! My heart melts every time I see it. I wish there was a way to bottle it up so I could keep it forever.... I'm certain I lacked for nothing the day you were born, okay, maybe some much needed sleep, but you will always be a testament of the Lord's love for me and how he knew the secret wish and righteous desires of my heart.
What a great mom you are! I can tell because of the love that spills onto your blog! I love to see all the themed parties you throw! What a great family tradition you have. Your girls will love and cherish all those memories of helping, preparing these extravagant parties. I am happy to know such a woman as you.
