Ya know that line from Alice Cooper's rock song...SCHOOL IS OUT FOR SUMMER? Well are we ever belting that out today!!! I'd post it to my music playlist but the overall song is just way too scary. Lunch at IceBerg is a tradition on the last day of school, so I piled my five girls and two nieces in the cruiser and off we went to celebrate by eating these...
Oh Yum!
Afterwards we went to the store to buy supplies to decorate my cute nephew's lawn who graduated from High School today. Not sure if I've shopped with 7 girls before but what a cRaZy delight. We found ourselves in a hilarious situation trying to jam a huge bouquet of balloons in a already packed car of 8 people. Good thing our life size cut out of George W. folded up or it would have been him or one of the kids strapped to the top of the car. LOL We secretly decorated the outside of the house with orange, black and white balloons, a Spartan banner, and 18 of these plates poked in all over the front lawn.
George W. was at the door to greet and say Congrats Graduate...Matt sure got a kick out of it! George has since been found scaring the occupants of this house in showers, beds, and behind closed doors.
My Miss straight 4.o! is officially a Freshman. Oh my! One of her guy friends wrote in her yearbook..Your intelligence will earn you many friends, but your smile earns even more! Keep smiling! Seriously. Thats a pretty mature AND sweet 8th grade boy! She took the camera to school and had a heyday taking pics..Here are just a few. These are her besties.....
especially this one...
With her favorite teacher..Miss Parker who taught History....
A bunch of kids headed across the street to Roxberry after school got out. Here she is with her cousin. They have LOVED going to school together this year.

Way too cute! Celebrating will continue as we host the Out of School Party/Cousin sleepover tomorrow night. Can't wait!
Hooray - I'm so happy that school is out too! Congrats to your girls on getting such good grades & I seriously can't believe Kyleigh will be a freshman! Also, I love Kate's little feet in the lake at Scofield - so cute! And, to answer your question - yep Brenlee's hair is naturally curly- there's no way I be curling it every day. I don't know how you get 5 girls ready every day - 1 is enough! :)
