 Here's a peek into our past 2 weeks....

Our Elf brought us some good smell'in stuff...

I attended my sweet Aunt's funeral.

Glena as a little girl...

My mom is one of 11 children.
{9 living as two died when they were infant/toddler}
She is one of 5 still alive.

After the funeral I helped my Mama get her tree up!

The fam made a trip to Backer's Pastry shop.
It is one of my favorite places
to visit at Christmas time.

It has such Vintage Charm!

We drove up to Salt Lake
specifically for their Molasses cookies.
{MY FAVORITE}
but they were all out!

The Youth went caroling at a retirement home.
It made my day!
{I have such a tender spot in my heart
for the elderly.}

 We met the most delightful people...

who have lived wonderful lives 

and are so talented!

Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert
with Kristin Chenoweth was an epic fail.
{you should have seen the line...one lady had 
been there since 2 in the afternoon waiting for 
the 8:00 pm concert} 😮

I've attended the Christmas concert
EVERY YEAR FOR 14 YEARS!
Didn't get tix this year!
I was more than a tad disappointed.

I got to go on a field trip with
Kate and Taylor's
3rd grade class...

We went to the Nature Center to Hawk watch....
Pretty cool!

Crowded as all get out. 

But worth the wait.

They even have gluten free pancakes.
Which were delicious!
And there omelettes are humongous!

The kiddos helped deliver neighbor gifts afterwards....

son and daughter out serving missions.

Sunday morning we attended the
Music and The Spoken Word Christmas Broadcast.
{no tix needed 😅}
We got a tiny glimpse of what the concerts
were like the past 3 nights.

It was soooo wonderful being there and
so fun to have all my girls with me!

Made it back in time to have a
Christmas-y YW lesson!
