Proud to be a Mormon!
We went opening night.
It's a must see.
So inspiring!
{take some tissues}
David Archuleta's new song from the movie. Love it!
His voice IS glorious!
The Y Blues!
Guess who dressed in blue and joined me on a Friday night date to a "Y" game?
Funniest thing ever....since he happens to be a little red blooded.
{How he can cheer for both teams baffles me.....it has for years.}
All I can say is he's a nicer person than I am. I could NOT do that for HIS team.
Company was great, but the game was a freak'in nightmare. And every game since then.
Shizz butt!
Future Missionaries!
We've had 6 baby boys join our extended family just in the last few months. Amazing! Here's a shout out to... Nixon, Jett, Hunter, Rhett, and twins Nash and Davis.
Afternoon excursions!
Kyleigh's school schedule allows her to come home for lunch in between classes...it's been so fun to have some time together, just the two of us. We often sneak off, as if no one will find out {ha!}, to get sushi or a deli sandwich or a pedicure. We also went to the temple recently together. I don't know what I did to be blessed with such beautiful, awesome daughters, but this one is about as good as they come...{she's an example to ME, in more ways than one, but especially when it comes to going to the temple. She goes often.}
She took one of her days off during Fall Break to do a temple trip. She was able to go to the newly rededicated Ogden Temple, and to Bountiful to do confirmations and baptisms.
Her and her girlfriends always have something up their sleeve. They are trying desperately to finish the last few items from their high school bucket lists. They are CRAZY HILARIOUS things that I would NEVER had dare do when I was her age. We got a good laugh about the one accomplished just this weekend.
{Don't ask! lol}
One of her girlfriends recently came across this old video of Ky and some of her buddies having a twerking contest. I knew she had some moves, but even I was in awe. {She does not take after her mother in this regard. Just say'in.} It's the guys and their moves that gave me a giggle.
And Shaney-bot thought he out twerked her. Um...don't think so!
Some serious artistic skillz going on around here!
Emmsie loves to do hair and make up. {If you've stopped by here before, you've probably seen the photo shoots she does with Kate.} She got to help her best friend get ready for the Homecoming dance. She loved every minute helping her do her hair, make-up, and nails. It's even Emma's dress and shoes she's wearing. Emmsie pretty much gave her the whole package deal!
She painted Kate's nails and toes-ies all Halloween-y!
Kate and I have a little thing for play doh. It's one of our favorite things to do together. Here's our artistic attempt at Halloween ghosts.
Did you know there is Play-doh ice-cream? As un-edible as it sounds..it's true. :)
Kate enjoying some with a school friend over for a play date.
Fall yummy-ness.
It's called Fall Break. Period.
Although this fall treat ranks right up there too.
Enjoyed after seeing the new Disney movie.
Cute family film with a good message!
It's look'in a little like Halloween around here!
Brie recently made these cute porch pumpkins at an Achievement Day activity.
In other Brie news...She just found out she won 3rd place out of all the 3rd/4th graders for the Halloween poem she wrote.
Way to go B Oliv-e-a!
She is one funny kid. It's Red Ribbon Week at the elementary and today they were supposed to dress up like someone they look up to. So she tried dressing up like ME.
"All fashion-y," she said. LOL
Love this recent pic of her with her four dancing buddies... tak'in my turn at carpool!

Can't believe she's turning 10 soon! She gets to go to the happiest trick or treat party on the planet to celebrate. Lucky girl!
So..I'm a quote lover. I keep a book full of my favorites, and add to it often. So because I'm so fashion-y {Ha. I'm really not!} I can't resist posting a few quotes from the iconic fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta, in honor of his passing this week....
Gosh wasn't he handsome? AND so so classy.

Walk with confidence ladies!!
"Luxury to me is not about buying luxurious things; it's about living in a way where you appreciate things." Oscar de la Renta
I say AMEN!
