Happy Easter!
Kate was all about the flowers on our Easter photoshoot..wanted to smell them, pick them, eat them or just sit right down amongst them in the flower bed.
Some bunny FUN
It's tradition at our house to have the Easter bunny come on Saturday morning.......
and he came in all his glory leaving a bunny trail. Emma stayed up with me late Friday night to help me make bunny tracks all over. A half a potato and flour does wonders. What a kick!
Hannah woke up and said, "who's going to clean THAT up?" Oh Yum!
some bunny lov'in
After Easter baskets we had a neighborhood breakfast and egg hunt at the church...
600 eggs were hid...
After that gathering we had a family party at grandmas with a
yummy lunch, our annual crack-off tournament and egg hunt...
Out of the 12 of us that played, Kyleigh was the winner with her egg the only one without a single crack. {And if you can't tell, she certainly was NOT going to be caught dead wearing the winner ensemble.}
I managed to get a few shots of the adults scrambling on the adult egg hunt before I took off my self....you can't waste any time on this hunt. Grandma puts money in those eggs and there are some fierce competitors in this family.
those that will hunt in window wells...
and especially those who wear a hard hat and carry garbage sized bags around to gather eggs. There's a story behind all that.
the loot....thank you grandma!
Seriously, can I come be a member of your family? You guys have so much fun. Also one question...are the eggs hard-boiled before you do the egg crack-off? I assume they are but I just wanted to be sure.
