What's on my Happy List Today?
Schneitters Restaurant We went back up to Zermatt with some neighbor friends tonight to dine at Schneitters Restaurant. (Officially one of my favorite restaurants now.) On Friday nights they have the most fabulous seafood buffet you've ever seen, ice sculptures included. It really is a seafood lovers dream! The dessert bar was to die for too. I have to say it was one of the best meals I've had. Yet, I still left room to run next door to get some gelato at Backerie and Eis. That is a must!
Walking around the resort after our meal we came across these bikes.
I got the biggest kick out of them that I had to take a picture of all four of them. I so want one of those bikes (particularly the white one with black flowers and the funky seat!!! ) I'm hoping these are some that are available to rent so that the next time I'm up there I can take one for a stroll. Unfortunately, my better half says he wont be joining me on that adventure. He wouldn't be caught dead on one of those. I can't say I blame him. LOL
After our Midway outing we found ourselves at our local Walmart buying red spray paint so that my husband and friends (the three of them University of Utah fans) could spray paint our neighbor's (die hard BYU fans) big "Y" mowed into their lawn, the color RED. We picked up the kids, those that weren't asleep yet, and they joined in on the fun. Since my blood is blue and didn't want any part in vandalizing the beloved "Y" I stayed in the car and watched from across the street. But I took pictures of course! LOL Which leads me to my favorite quote of the day...When my neighbor friend found out I was taking pictures AGAIN (He and his wife are quickly finding out that I always have my camera with me and that I take pics of everything and everyone) he blurts out... "What is she, the resident paparazzi?"
SHHH! Ya gotta keep it a secret as the three Ute fans have plans to do this all football season long. We will see how long they can keep doing it without getting caught!

Ok, so I made a major impulse purchase due to your post this morning. I bought an big old bicycle from a garage sale for THREE DOLLARS, with visions of painting it all up an attaching the basket I bought a few weeks ago at a sale. It's hidden behind the house while I work up the courage to spring it on HH. He'll die. I told the people I bought it from, they might see it back on their porch tomorrow morning once my husband sees it. How I WISH we lived closer, as I can think of nothing better than delivering it to your front porch early tomorrow morning all pimped out for a birthday surprise. Seriously. I'm dying!
ReplyDeleteAng, I love those bikes! I just fixed up one myself and I absolutely love it. I just bought a cute basket and a little bell that says, "I heart my bike". It's my pride and joy:)
ReplyDeleteI WANT ONE OF THOSE BIKES!!! So Cute!!! I can Not think of a more stylish way to ride onto campus!
